    Man Utd 1-1 West Ham

Good from Fred to switch the play out to Romelu Lukaku, playing more or less as a right-winger now, his low cross is half nodded away and Marcos Rojo has a 20-yard shot straight at Lukasz Fabianski.

    Man Utd 1-1 West Ham

Manchester United building a head of steam but Diogo Dalot sees two low crosses thumped clear at the front post. Frustrated howls ring down from the steep stands as Fred then gives away a free-kick.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 62 mins

    Man Utd 1-1 West Ham

Marcus Rashford much sharper than most as he lets a cross from the right go through his legs, clever, but Pablo Zabaleta does really well to clear.

Grady Diangana comes on for the hobbled Manuel Lanzini before Rashford heads over. Good spell for the hosts.

Manuel Lanzini has been impressive today but he's pulled up holding his groin. That looks like a game-ender.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 59 mins

    Man Utd 1-1 West Ham

Instant impact from Marcus Rashford - on the shoulder of the defence he darts into the area, hammers in a first-time shot from wide on the right of the area, and Lukasz Fabianski makes a really good one-handed save to turn it away.

Noel: Really does look like these Untied players were up for it and playing for their futures while Solksjaer was caretaker, but once he was made permanent, they reverted back to their old form!?? Question marks abound about their character!

KN: Sloppy, wasteful and woeful. Mufc have gone back to Mourinho days. Many of these players need the hair-dryer treatment

  11. Rojo breaks the one second rulepublished at 18:41 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Man Utd 1-1 West Ham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

As a former England full-back, Gary Neville should know about these things and last night he spoke about the one-second rule for defenders.

Basically, he said no defender should fail to check where his man had moved to if he was behind him for more than one second.

Marcos Rojo was supposed to be keeping an eye on Felipe Anderson just then.

He went quite a bit longer than one second before Anderson got on the end of Manuel Lanzini's far-post cross.

    Man Utd 1-1 West Ham

This makeshift back four is looking just that for the home side at the moment. Again Felipe Anderson finds yards of space on the right and Phil Jones has to move over to make a block. From the corner Pablo Zabaleta ends up having a shot but it's straight at David de Gea.

West Ham got into good opportunities to put the ball in the box in the first half. The first time they get the ball in after the break and it's a goal. It's a good run by Felipe Anderson into the area where you hurt teams. Man Utd look really tired and laboured.

Really open game, NBA Jam stuff. West Ham have another good chance straight away but they don't make the most of an overload on the right-hand side and instead Robert Snodgrass has a shot charged down.

    Felipe Anderson

Shoddy from Manchester United! David de Gea rolls the ball out and Paul Pogba is not on the same page, it's a turnover in midfield. Manuel Lanzini then floats in a fine cross from teh left, Marcos Rojo switches off at the back post and a sliding Felipe Anderson converts with a shot that De Gea can't keep out.

West Ham now with a good spell but again the final ball is not up to much and David de Gea can seize the cross. But De Gea then gives the ball away...

Here we come then. Can West Ham turn their positive play into goals?

A word of warning - Manchester United have never lost a Premier League game at Old Trafford when winning at half time.

Simon: Decent half for West Ham, unlucky to be trailing, not least because of the offside and penalty decisions that went against them (although both felt right in real time).

RegulaJon: This game has zero quality, absolutely shocking. Dread to think what the score could be on Tuesday as United really are poor at the moment

Momodu: WHU dominating possession at Old Trafford like every other team this season. Poor decision making, no flair, no urgency. OGS needs to overhaul this team

Manchester United are edging it but the points are certainly not in the bag.

In the last five minutes of the first-half they gave the ball away three times under no pressure, two of them in their own half.

I have a feeling Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be telling his players to sharpen up their act during the interval.

This is a game United must win if they are to remain in realistic contention for a top four place.
