Liverpool have scored 21 Premier League goals in the final 15 minutes of matches this season.

    Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

A pretty even half, which perhaps Liverpool just shaded.

Both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will rue their missed chances, but Chelsea look dangerous on the break. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has on several occasions broken through the midfield, and Willian could have given the visitors the lead.

Could we be heading for a dramatic finale a la five years ago?

  15. 'We gave our fans something to cheer'published at 17:24 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-3 Man City

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson speaking to BBC Sport: “We gave it a good go in the second half. We got the balance between controlling and putting pressure on them much better. And when that goal goes in anything can happen.

“But as is often the case you can stretch yourself too far and when the ball gets lost, they break and it’s going to be difficult to prevent them putting the game to bed.

“But I thought we gave our fans something to cheer and a glimmer of hope. City were respectful enough to put their best team out against us but unfortunately we just have to accept we weren’t up to winning the match today.

“Man City at the moment are right up there and if they can keep their goalscoring form going who knows where they will end up this season.

“I can’t criticise my players for their effort or desire to do something in the game. You have to accept that you come across opponents that our better than you and in fine form to boot.

“All you can hope to do is they don’t let themselves down, throw in the towel, keep trying. And even at 2-0 we still tried to get that goal back and did."

Chris, Taunton: Liverpool just need one goal. One goal and the whole season fits in to place perfectly, with every focus on City's fixtures with United and Tottenham.

Dean from Carnoustie: Liverpool recently have won a lot of games very late on, and this could be another one. Chelsea will be very pleased with their first-half performance.

    • 'It's in our hands now'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

      Crystal Palace 1-3 Man City

      Manchester City

More from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola speaking to Sky Sports: "At the Etihad Palace had three shots on goal and scored [2-3 in December]. Today's game was really good after the Champions League defeat - the stage was not easy.

"We have 83 points with five games left.

"We play December, January, February - every three days one game. Why not trust with the guys to do it again. We have the personality for the games.

"We know Liverpool will win all their games and we have to win our games. It's in our hands depending on our performances.

"I never doubt - knew we would produce a good performance.

"De Bruyne we know his vision like anyone can see. And Benjamin Mendy is clever with the ball and is the only left back we have in the squad.
