It has slowed down a bit from Liverpool in the last few minutes, I expected that. But I also expect them to come out all guns blazing at the start of the second half. Chelsea will be aware of that will have to deal with it.

The free-kick is swung in from the left and there's three Liverpool players who are trying to get a connection on it.

It looks like it's Roberto Firmino who does but he's offside as Kepa makes the save from close-range.

Sadio Mane bursts past N'Golo Kante and then Cesar Azpilicueta down the left wing.

The Chelsea full-back swings an arm out to stop him and goes in the book. The referee has to come over to have a word with Maurizio Sarri too as he protests that decision.

Chelsea look for an opening on the edge of the box but there's no way in. Willian has a pop but his shot is blocked by... Eden Hazard.

Roberto Firmino tries to start a counter-attack for Liverpool but Cesar Azpilicueta does brilliantly to put in a tackle and win the throw-in.

How will that change effect Chelsea's solidity at the back? It's only Andreas Christiansen's fifth league appearance this season.

His first involvement is a rushed pass back to Kepa.

Roberto Firmino feeds it to Mohamed Salah on the right. The forward cuts inside and slips it into the centre for Sadio Mane.

Mane hits it first time and with plenty of pace but it flies wide of Kepa's left post. Plenty thought that was going in...

Grace from Mull: Liverpool really need a midfielder to start breaking into the box, like Henderson did against Southampton, if they want to get a goal here. Too many good crosses going in with no one gambling.

Andy Robertson catches Cesar Azpilicueta late but the referee plays a good advantage. Eden Hazard loses the ball on the edge of the box though.

For all Liverpool's possession, Chelsea are defending resolutely, with Emerson and Cesar Azpilicueta marshalling Mo Salah and Sadio Mane well. That has allowed the visitors the odd break but like that Willian chance, they need to take advantage.

Chelsea deal with Liverpool's high pressing well until Naby Keita is able to win the ball off Callum Hudson-Odoi on the right.

The visitors look comfortable at the back despite Liverpool having all the possession.

Virgil van Dijk's clearance is a dodgy one as the wind holds it straight up in the air.

Roberto Firmino's neat touch flicks it beyond David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger has to follow it up with a hoofed clearance.

Liverpool will re-set from the back.

What a fantastic break by Chelsea. Liverpool were too far forward, they didn’t leave enough players back. That’s what let Liverpool down in the game against Chelsea in 2014; they almost did it again there.

It flies way wide of the right post. Dangerous signs though.
