What a goal that was from Ryan Babel. Cyrus Christie has a wonderful run, turns back, rolls it into the feet of Babel. It's a wonderful strike!

    Ryan Babel

A moment of briliance to potentially win this game for Fulham as Ryan Babel scores a superb goal from 25 yards.

Cyrus Christie's run opened up the shooting chance for Babel who curled it beautifully into the top-left corner of the net. A stunning finish.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 74 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Cardiff

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing sees an angled effort punched away by Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Moments later Cardiff have a half-hearted penalty shout when Rhys Healey is shoulder to shoulder with Tom Cairney before going to ground. However, referee Chris Kavanagh does not appear remotely interested.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Cardiff

Rhys Healey is on for Victor Camarasa.

Cardiff need more urgency here. They are edging closer to going down with a whimper unless they can find a moment of inspiration from somewhere.

Into the last 20 minutes now.

The hirsute Aron Gunnarsson leans back against the advertising hoardings before launching a long throw into the Fulham box. It's repelled by the home side's defence before Cardiff reogranise to stifle the counter attack.

Moments later, a well-timed tackle from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing gives Fulham their 10th corner of the match. Yet again they fail to threaten. Fulham caretaker boss Scott Parker needs to work on some different routines on the training ground perhaps.

This game has really opened up after that disjointed first 45 minutes.

Fulham have created a raft of chances, sparking into life their hitherto silent fans.

Cardiff, meanwhile, have managed a few half-chances but they'll need more quality in the final third if they are to get that crucial breakthrough.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

Cardiff make an attacking change. The ineffective Oumar Niasse is replaced by Danny Ward. Neil Warnock's side need a goal here.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Cardiff's most impressive player thus far, teases a low cross into the penalty area but Leandro Bacuna loses his footing and the chance goes begging.

Moments later, Victor Camarasa's speculatively shoots from distance. His radar is off and the ball flies wide.

    Another Fulham chance.

Tom Cairney's curling cross from the left swirls in the wind and causes a heart-in-the-mouth moment for Cardiff goalkeeper Neil Etheridge as he is forced to back peddle and swat the ball over crossbar.

Mitrovic has got to score, at least hit the target.

He was 12 yards out in front of goal. With his quality, you expect him to put it in the corner but he blazes it over the bar.
