A great chance for Fulham is squandered by Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Some slick Fulham build-up play between Ryan Babel and Tom Cairney sees the ball fed to the Serbia striker near the penalty spot. However, Mitrovic leans back as he strikes his shot and the ball sails into the stands.

Cardiff manager Neil Warnock breathes a sigh of relief.

The answer is a resounding no. It's hit long and Cardiff defend their lines with ease. The Bluebirds attempt to catch Fulham on the counter attack and the hosts initially look flat-footed as Victor Camarasa ploughs forward. However, the Cardiff man is outnumbered and loses the ball.

This is still a great opportunity for Cardiff. If you look at what they've done in pressure games this season, they are unbeaten in their seven games against the bottom five teams. When they have needed to win the games, they have won.

Attritional, scrappy and low on chances. One goal might win this game.

It's a cliché but it may well be a moment of brilliance, or a shocking mistake, which defines the outcome of this contest.

Fulham with a half-chance on the stroke of half-time. Ryan Babel gets to the byline and his cross finds Ryan Sessegnon on the edge of the six-yard box. However, the ball is at an awkward height to execute a clean finish and Sessegnon's tame effort is scuffed wide. Shortly afterwards Babel lifts a shot over the bar from 25 yards.

This is evenly poised. Either of the two of them could win this.

Fulham's passing and moving is easy on the eye, but Cardiff look a real threat. It's an intriguing game.

I think Neil Warnock has stressed to Cardiff that they don't have to win in the first half, they look to have a real belief in the game plan.

Ryan Sessegnon spins around like a figure skater on the touchline as he attempts to fashion an opening for Fulham. However, no-nonsense defender Joe Bennett is having none of it. The Cardiff man aggressively wins the ball and clears the danger.

Moments later Ryan Babel cuts inside from the left flank, but the Dutch winger sees his effort blocked by a blue shirt.

Fulham finishing the first half the stronger of the two sides.

Cardiff are threatening and look really dangerous when they get to Fulham's box

They look really promising in final third, and if the wind stays the way it is, I think it's going to play a big part.

They are prepared to keep their shape. When they nick the ball, they will get chances.

This game is being played out as you might expect so far: Fulham looking to intricately pass their way into promising positions, while Cardiff take a more direct route to goal.

The visitors' approach has occasionally unsettled Fulham, who don't seem comfortable dealing with long balls hurled into their penalty area while strong winds continue to swirl around Craven Cottage.

Cardiff flicker into life. A promising attack is spearheaded by Leandro Bacuna who advances into the box and finds Oumar Niasse. However, the Cardiff striker lacks decisiveness and Fulham snuff out the danger before he is able to create a shooting chance.

But when Fulham pass it well, they will take it into dangerous territory.

There are enough people there looking after him so hopefully he will be ok.

Fulham had started well, so that will be a blow if Odoi has to come off.

Denis Odoi has been clobbered in the face by the boot of Maxime Le Marchand and looks in a pretty bad way.

The Belgian defender is dazed and shaken as he attempts to get to his feet. He is currently lying down on the pitch receiving treatment from the Fulham medical staff. It doesn't look he will be able to continue.
