    In May 2017, Rodgers secured his first domestic treble (the fourth in Celtic's history) after his side defeated Aberdeen 2-1 in the Scottish Cup final.

    It also meant he ended his first season in charge unbeaten in all domestic competitions.

    Neil Lennon will be taking over a squad with some familiar faces to him should he be confirmed as interim Celtic manager.

    Captain Scott Brown, veteran full-backs Emilio Izaguirre and Mikael Lustig, midfielders Nir Bitton, Tom Rogic, James Forrest and Callum McGregor, plus striker Leigh Griffiths, are all survivors from the squad he left behind in 2014.

    While Leicester City can't offer Brendan Rodgers the lure of a potential treble treble, Old Firm matches or a chance of landing the Paradise Windfall 50/50, it will maybe offer him some stability to build for next season.

    • Brendan Rodgers is in talks with Leicester City about becoming their new manager. Reports tell us he is due to be unveiled this afternoon.
    • Neil Lennon is set to be the man to replace him at Celtic Park, albeit until the end of the season.
    • Neil Lennon's agent is currently at Celtic's training ground with chief executive Peter Lawwell.
    • Rodgers has won seven trophies from seven at Celtic and currently has them eight points ahead of Rangers.
    • He walked out on an interview when asked about his future following the 4-1 win over Motherwell on Sunday.
