Half-time substitute Marco Reus has gone close to finding an equaliser for Germany and is asking real questions of the Serbian defence since his introduction.

Ilkay Gundogan then goes close for the hosts, but his effort is cleared off the line and Serbia stay in front!

Levi Garcia rushes past Adam Davies in the Wales goal but is forced out wide. He pulls it back for Aubrey David, who fires low towards the bottom corner but luckily for Ryan Giggs' side Chris Gunter is there to clear the ball off the line.

Ben Woodburn is growing in confidence now and is offering that spark the home support have been waiting for.

He charges into the Trinidad penalty area, changes feet quickly and goes down under contact from a defender. The ball had already got away from him though, and the referee signals for a goal-kick.

Ryan Giggs still has 18-year-old Rabbi Matondo, 19-year-old Matthew Smith and Derby County's Harry Wilson among the exciting prospects on his bench.

Will they get their chance to shine in front of a packed home crowd?

It's a bright start to the second half by the hosts!

Ben Woodburn does really well on the left flank to manufacture an early chance for Wales, sending a ball through to Tyler Roberts who is stretching as much as he can - but he can't quite latch on to the pass.

It will be interesting to see how long Trinidad can last and how fit they can be.

It hasn't gone to plan so far for Germany against Serbia.

Joachim Low has made two changes at the interval, bringing on Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marco Reus are on in place of Manuel Neuer 19-year-old Kai Havertz.

These are good young players but they are looking a bit nervy. Stick to the game plan and keep moving this Trinidad team about.

Wales begin their European Championship qualifying campaign against Slovakia on Sunday and are in a group that also features Croatia, Hungary and Azerbaijan.

Former Wales defender Danny Gabbidon, speaking on BBC Radio Wales, says: "It is a difficult group, but it's down to Wales. If we're not right those teams suddenly become harder propositions but if we play well we can beat any of those teams in the group."

Danny Ward has not had anything to do and it has been lacking quality. We've been impatient in our build-up play and it has been disappointing.

I don't see why the lad Roberts is playing out right, I see him as the pivotal striker. We're trying to play Woodburn or Thomas up there and it's not working.

Well, that's all the action we're getting from the first half in Wrexham.

Not much to shout about for the hosts, whose young players have occasionally shown glimpses of what they're capable of.

But Trinidad & Tobago are holding firm so far. Let's hope for a bit more quality after the interval.
