Explain that change! It's a very strange one because Will Hughes has actually contributed very well to this Watford team.

I'm surprised Javi Gracia hasn't hooked Andre Gray.

Watford have got to make a change and here it is - Gerard Deulofeu is on for Will Hughes. All or nothing from the Hornets.

This is a brilliant finish from Raul Jimenez. He peels away and takes it down on his chest then it's a wonderful finish. It should have been a Superman mask he put on!

What's he cost, £30million? It's an absolute snip!

    Raul Jimenez

A brilliant goal, and a brilliant celebration! Matt Doherty pings in a cross from deep, Raul Jimenez takes it down on his chest and then, as Heurelho Gomes comes out, he hooks in an acrobatic scissor kick into the back of the net.

It's a belter. And he then produces a Mexican wrestling mask from somewhere too.

Was he onside? Just about, I think. Who knows? I don't.

Another booking, Diogo Jota got his head down and ran at the Watford defence again and again they couldn't stop him. Rather fittingly, he's built like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Jose Holebas is in the book.

    Phil McNulty

Watford still cannot find the breakthrough and Andre Gray, for all his endeavour, is having no luck so far.

The maverick Gerard Deulofeu is on the bench and this is the sort of occasion, and environment, that might suit him perfectly.

Watford send Andre Gray into the channel with a good ball and the former Brentford man just launches it first time, out of play. He's not had a good day.

We are right behind it, I thought it was in!

Neves gets such bend on the ball and Wolves are inches away from going 2-0 up. It was a great delivery, Gomes was rooted.

  16. CLOSE!published at 56 mins

    Watford 0-1 Wolves

So close! Ruben Neves takes the free-kick for Wolves this time, it's wide left of the area and he puts in a beauty of a ball. Cross/shot, whipped in, just beyond the run of Romain Saiss and just beyond the far corner too. Double threat ball.

There's enough here for Watford still. They've created chances.

But the longer it goes like this then they'll have to take a risk, throw caution to the wind.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 54 mins

    Watford 0-1 Wolves

Diogo Jota gets the better of Craig Cathcart again and the Northern Irishman hauls him to the ground. He's booked.

Cathcart ended up as the manager of Bayern Munich in one of my old Football Manager games - for some reason - and that's all I can think of whenever I see him...

What we do know about this Watford team this season is that they've shown great character, belief and resilience. They're not going to give this one up easily.

They need to get Roberto Pereyra on the ball more. He's too deep.

Unlucky! Diogo Jota does really well to get away from Craig Cathcart down the right and fire in a cross on the run, it's beyond Raul Jimenez but he just chucks himself at the ball, hooking an effort back in on target and it loops up, Heurelho Gomes recovers to hang on.

Wolves looking for a second which could be a killer.
