Rovers have come closest to a goal today - Joe Rothwell's hit the bar early on at Ewood Park.

It's amazing what two wins over your promotion rivals can do.

From being on the outskirts of the top six, consecutive victories at Sheffield United and Middlesbrough have lifted Bristol City up to fifth in the Championship.

They also have a game in hand on most of the teams around them.

Today it's Wigan at home for the upwardly mobile Robins.

  20. Baggies boinging under caretaker boss Shanpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 6 April 2019

Millwall v West Brom (15:00 BST)

If the people in charge of West Bromwich Albion were hoping for a "new manager/head coach bounce" after sacking Darren Moore, then caretaker boss James Shan has provided it.

The Baggies have won all three games since Shan took charge and that sequence has all but guaranteed a play-off spot, although a top-two finish looks unlikely at this stage.

Today's opponents Millwall, on the other hand, are just a point above the drop zone. If there has been a positive for them this term, it's been their home form. Points from their remaining games at The Den could be critical to their survival chances.
