Steve McClaren's reign at QPR came to an end on Monday, following a run of just one win in 15 league games.

Under the former England boss, QPR made a horrible start to the campaign, then recovered to be within sight of the play-offs by Christmas, then have tailed off again in recent weeks to slip to 17th in the table.

McClaren's assistant, John Eustace, takes charge of Rangers at Carrow Road today.

Any murmurs that Norwich City's promotion challenge would tail off in the closing weeks of the season have been met with a resounding reply by the Canaries.

Seven successive wins have put Daniel Farke's side within touching distance of the Premier League.

    No wonder he's smiling.
