  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Millwall

An attacking change from Millwall boss Neil Harris, as forward Aiden O'Brien comes on for left-back James Meredith.

Shane Ferguson will slot in at full-back, with O'Brien ahead of him on the left.

Will that switch get Millwall back into the game in the final 25 minutes?

Bristol City are another side aiming to secure the final play-off spot.

The Robins have won big games against Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and West Brom in recent weeks, but shown some jitters to draw with Ipswich, Wigan and Reading.

But, with a game in hand on sixth-placed Boro, Lee Johnson knows if they can win their final four games they will secure a place in the play-offs.

They go to a Sheffield Wednesday side who have won just one of their past five games.

However, the Owls are in decent form at home, having lost just one of their past 12 in the league at Hillsbrough.

  4. Team news - one Norwich changepublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Stoke v Norwich (15:00 BST)

Leaders Norwich make one change from the draw at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Friday, as midfielder Emi Buendia returns after suspension.

Hosts Stoke welcome back keeper Jack Butland, who missed their loss at Boro following the birth of his first child.

The Potters' two other changes see recalls for Thibaud Verlinden and Ryan Shawcross, replacing Sam Vokes and Nathan Collins respectively.

Stoke XI: Butland, Edwards, Batth, Shawcross, Williams, Allen, Etebo, Clucas, McClean, Verlinden, Afobe.

Norwich XI: Krul, Aarons, Zimmermann, Godfrey, Lewis, Trybull, McLean, Buendia, Stiepermann, Hernandez, Pukki.

    Aston Villa 1-0 Millwall

Another opening for Millwall, but right-back Mahlon Romeo scuffs his effort well off target from the edge of the area.

Then there's a big let-off for the Lions, as Jonathan Kodjia works a shooting opening after some trickery on the edge of the area,

But the Ivory Coast international misses the target from a narrow angle, sending the ball across the face of goal with the outside of the boot.

  6. goal

GOAL: Southend 2-0 Burtonpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Harry Bunn (49 mins)

At the other end of the table, Southend United are well on their way to a huge win at the bottom of League One.

Harry Bunn taps in from close range to put the Shrimpers 2-0 up - a result that would lift them out of the relegation zone.

We're into the final five minutes at Fratton Park and if the score stays the same Portsmouth will be heading second in League One.

Nottm Forest v Middlesbrough (15:00 BST)

Tony Pulis poses for a selfieImage source, Rex Features

Middlesbrough looked like they might have blown their hopes of a play-off finish when they lost six straight games in March and early April.

But Tony Pulis' side have got back on the proverbial bike and rattled off three straight wins, which have put them sixth and a point ahead of Bristol City.

However, the Robins have a game in hand against lowly Millwall, so Boro know they need to keep winning.

Still, Pulis is happy enough to pose for pre-match selfies with supporters.

Nottingham Forest's own dreams of a return to the Premier League this season are up in smoke following a run of four straight defeats.

Not the kind of form which will make boss Martin O'Neill happy.

  9. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 2-1 Coventrypublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Brett Pitman (83 mins)

    Quality finish!

Lee Burge, who's looked a bit shaky dealing with set-pieces all afternoon, makes a hash of another of Lee Brown's corners and the ball sits up invitingly for Brett Pitman.

The former Bristol City forward could easily rush his finish and lash at the ball, but he steadies himself before half-volleying into the top corner from about 10 yards. He certainly made it look a lot easier than it was.

  10. Postpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Millwall

A relatively quiet opening five minutes to the second half, although Millwall keeper David Martin was called into a routine save in the first 60 seconds of the half.

Lions winger Jed Wallace has just shanked a shot over from the edge of the area.

Reading v West Brom (15:00 BST)

    James ShanImage source, Rex Features

West Brom are pretty much guaranteed a play-off place because of their goal difference, but a point at Reading today will seal their spot in the end-of-season jamboree.

The Baggies sit fourth and are in decent nick under caretaker James Shan, winning five of their past seven - but have lost their past two away from home.

Reading are 19th, five points above the relegation zone and are unbeaten in three games.

Jose Gomes' side have only lost one of their past six and are close to securing a seventh season in the second tier.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Aston Villa 1-0 Millwall

The second half is under way at Villa Park.

Millwall need a comeback if they are not to slip further into the relegation scrap.

  14. Blades back in control of destinypublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

Hull v Sheff Utd (15:00 BST)

    Chris WilderImage source, Rex Features

Sheffield United are back in the automatic promotion driving seat after Leeds fell to that shock home defeat by Wigan on Good Friday.

The Blades took advantage by beating Nottingham Forest to move ahead of the Whites on goal difference, and know that if they win their final three games of the campaign they will be promoted - unless Leeds go goal crazy and overturn a six-goal deficit.

Chris Wilder's side have lost just one of their past 15 league games and are unbeaten in seven away from home.

They also know any slip-up could be capitalised on by Leeds, who travel to Brentford in the evening kick-off.

Hull are on course for a mid-table finish after losing their past two games, but Nigel Adkins' side are unbeaten in 12 at the KC Stadium so could prove a tough nut to crack.

  15. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Portsmouth 1-1 Coventry

Luke Thomas squandered a really good chance before the break - and he's just missed another one.

The Coventry City man is put clear down the right but skews his effort wide of the near post with only the goalkeeper to beat. In his defence, the angle really was against him on that occasion.

  16. Canaries ready for promotion partypublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Stoke v Norwich (15:00 BST)

    Daniel FarkeImage source, Rex Features

Norwich City have only spent one week out of the Championship's top two since early November, and have been leading the division since mid-February.

Since then, it's seemed like a question of when - not if - the Canaries will be promoted.

Daniel Farke's side had won eight in a row but have had their momentum checked in recent weeks with three draws in a row.

But the equation is simple. If Norwich win today and either of Sheffield United or Leeds drop points, the Canaries will be promoted to the Premier League.

Stoke have been out of form, with just one win in their past eight, but Nathan Jones will be aiming to spoil the travelling fans' possible party.

GOAL: Portsmouth 1-1 Coventrypublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 22 April 2019

    Tam Naylor (66 mins)

    Game on!

This has been a cracking game on the south coast and now Pompey, who have really given it a proper go since the break, have equalised.

Tom Naylor rises highest to meet Lee Brown's corner to head past Lee Burge.

Sam Mantom's goal has Southend United 1-0 up at half-time.

It's not been a good 45 minutes for Burton Albion, who lost top scorer Liam Boyce to a serious-looking injury. He was stretchered off midway through the half.

But Coventry are so good on the break!

It's Jordy Hiwula again, working himself a yard of space in the box, but his low effort is blocked away for a throw-in.
