Fulham spent over £100m on players after winning promotion last season but were relegated on 2 April

"I think they will stick with their playing style and find players who will fit into that.

"They wont do what Fulham have done and spend £100m, they're just not in that position. They'll have to improve the squad, that's clear, but I don't expect wholesale changes.

"Norwich City have found in the past that when they have spent big money on players it hasn't always worked.

"I think they'll be careful with the money that they get and trust the players who have got them to where they are."

"They only won one of their first six and I go back to the East Anglia derby at the start of September.

"It was a dreadful game that finished 1-1 and there was a spell when Ipswich were 1-0 up and they would have gone above Norwich had they won. Moritz Leitner equalised and everything changed from that moment.

"Daniel Farke gave 18-year-old Max Aarons his league debut in that game and we were staggered when we saw that but that has been part of the key to his success.

"He has given young players a chance in games that really, really matter. That's why Daniel Farke has become so popular."

  6. 'All credit goes to Stuart Webber'published at 22:02 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    FT: Norwich 2-1 Blackburn

Norwich manager Daniel Farke told Sky Sports: "I think of how much we grew during the season - we had so much financial pressure on the club and we had to sell some of our best players, so we had to be creative with our recruitment.

"All credit goes to Stuart [Webber]. It's important that we both work closely together and trust each other. I think he's done an outstanding job."

  7. 'A moment full of happiness'published at 21:59 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

    FT: Norwich 2-1 Blackburn

Norwich manager Daniel Farke told Sky Sports: "It's a moment full of happiness and pride. This feeling is amazing. We've achieved something really extraordinary.

"For me the Championship is the toughest league in the world. Each and every game is pretty close so to come out in the top two teams you deserve it."

    Chris Goreham

"Bringing in Daniel Farke in 2017 was a clear change of direction for Norwich City.

"It was the first time the club had had a head coach rather than a manager and he was a complete unknown.

"We only got wind of his appointment the day before and there was a lot of frantic research because we didn't really know who he was. It was the mother of all left-field appointments."

  10. 'We're just buzzing'published at 21:51 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

Norwich midfielder Mario Vrancic told Sky Sports: "It's a great feeling. I'm so proud for the supporters - it's pure happiness today.

"It's been a tough season. There are many good teams in this league. It's been a hard, long season but we're just buzzing that we've made it."

  12. 'Pre-season expectations were low'published at 21:46 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

Norwich are promoted to the Premier League

"Everybody understood the situation in the summer, the club had to sell players to balance the books. But when the club have finished 14th and only scored 49 goals and then sold their top two goalscorers, James Maddison and Josh Murphy, clearly people felt that was not the recipe for success.

"Fans were nonplussed by most of the signings in the summer because they just didn't know much about them.

"By the time the season came around I think fans felt the squad was stronger but without a Maddison or Murphy they were worried they lacked the x-factor to win games.

"I think the most optimistic of supporters were saying there was a chance of getting in the play-offs."

  13. 'It's a fairytale'published at 21:43 British Summer Time 27 April 2019

Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul told Sky Sports: "It's a fairytale. Three years ago I had a bad injury and I was in a dark place, so to stand here now going back up to the Premier League is just incredible.

"Literally everybody in this club has contributed to this amazing thing - I can't describe how great it is.

"The bond is so strong. Every single player wants to get to the Premier League and here we are."

"The thing that really stands out for me with Teemu Pukki is his movement. He knows the runs to make and he knows the places to be to score goals. It's a knack he has developed.

"He's played in six different countries and he's totally comfortable with the position.

"Strikers at this level tend to be either over six foot and be a big targetman or smaller, nippier players. He's neither of those but then he's also both. He's stronger than he looks and he's quicker than he looks."
