    Well that was a white knuckle ride of a final day in Leagues One and Two.

    There's been glory for Luton Town, MK Dons, Southend United, AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe Wanderers.

    Meanwhile it's been a sobering day for fans of Plymouth Argyle, Walsall and Scunthorpe as well as Notts County who were relegated from League Two earlier.

    Who'd be a football fan, eh? Well with that in mind, we'll be back with more final day action tomorrow when the Championship's regular season is wrapped up.

    Today's results mean we know the line-up for the play-offs.

    Charlton's big win over Rochdale means there is a heavyweight clash between Portsmouth and Sunderland in the third tier.

    Mansfield have had to settle for a place in the League Two play-offs after defeat at MK Dons saw them drop out of the top three earlier today.

    The first legs will take place as follows;

    League Two:

    • Newport v Mansfield (Thursday, 9 May, 19:45 BST)
    • Tranmere v Forest Green (Friday, 10 May, 19:45 BST)

    League One:

    • Sunderland v Portsmouth (Saturday, 11 May, 19:30 BST)
    • Doncaster v Charlton (Sunday, 12 May, 12:15 BST)

    Southend defender John White told Sky Sports:

    "[On conceding a penalty] Those things happen and it was tight. Those judgement calls come from the ref and I was gutted.

    "[On his goal] It comes along and you just react. You turn around see the net and you're like wow, it happened.

    "You can see the support we've got from the fans, they would have been devastated if we'd gone down.

    "It shows what we can do next year."

    Southend forward Stephen Humphrys told Sky Sports:

    "[On his goal] I can't explain that. It's the best moment of my life.

    "I thought if I get one chance, you never lose a striker's instinct. I thought I'd put it away and thankfully it fell to me.

    "[On his facial injury earlier this season] I was told I needed six months to recover but I knew that 15 fractures later it was worth it."

    Charlton's big win over Rochdale means they have snatched third place on goal difference.

    That's after Portsmouth could only draw against Accrington.

    It mean's Pompey will face Sunderland in the play-offs!!
