It's a mammoth task for Chelsea today.

Not only do they have to overturn a first-leg deficit, they must do so against a Lyon side that has won this competition three years running and reached seven of the past nine finals.

Blues manager Emma Hayes, however, has taken huge encouragement from her team's display in last Sunday's initial meeting between the sides in France.

Welcome to Kingsmeadow on what could be a historic afternoon for Chelsea Women as they bid to reach the Women's Champions League final for the first time.

The Blues trail five-time champions Lyon 2-1 after last weekend's first leg in France but Erin Cuthbert's second-half away goal has given them plenty of hope heading into the return meeting.

Only one other British club has reached the final since its inception - Arsenal, who beat Swedish side Umea over two legs to lift the trophy in 2007, when the tournament was known as the UEFA Women's Cup.

But if Chelsea are to match that feat and reach the final in Budapest on 18 May, they must overcome a Lyon side featuring such talents as Ada Hegerberg (below, second left), last year's Ballon d'Or winner.
