  1. HALF-TIME - Kilmarnock 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

It's been a bruising battle of Rugby Park, with the ball spending much of the first half in the air and taking a battering along with 22 bodies.

Almost inevitably, someone was going to be sent off and it was Kirk Broadfoot for a late challenge on goalkeeper Joe Lewis as the Kilmarnock defender lunged in as he attempted to score within the six-yard box.

Sam Cosgrove will count himself lucky not to have joined Broadfoot up the tunnel as the Aberdeen striker seemed to spend much of the half either crashing into opponents or falling to the ground claiming for penalties or free-kicks.

You can tell third place in the Premiership is up for grabs between these two - but through competitiveness and not the quality of play.

  2. HALF-TIME Hamilton 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

The visitors have the upper hand in the Lanarkshire derby, with David Turnbull converting from close range - leaving Hamilton with plenty to do in their fight for survival.

  3. HALF-TIME Livingston 1-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

Quite a first half in West Lothian... Shortly after being reduced to 10 men as captain Craig Halkett was sent packing, Livi opened scoring through Scott Robinson only for St Mirren's Paul McGinn to reply minutes later with a shot that went through the legs of Liam Kelly.

All St Johnstone's danger is coming down the left. This time it's full-back Scott Tanser who whips over a quality delivery but Chris Kane's eight-yard header is straight at Dundee keeper Seny Dieng. Dundee hit back with a rasping 20-yard strike from Paul McGowan that flies narrowly over.

This match has erupted into life with the sending off of Kirk Broadfoot. The Kilmarnock fans are absolutely incensed with the decision, partly because Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove escaped a second yellow minutes before.

Broadfoot is furious as he leaves the field, kicking a water bottle in frustration on his way to the tunnel. Not much football but still plenty to talk about.

Kirk Broadfoot is a bit unlucky there. He's caught Joe Lewis in the face but there's no intent there. The red card is harsh.

  9. RED CARD - Broadfoot (Kilmarnock)published at 15:37 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Aberdeen

Controversy as Sam Cosgrove, who has already been booked, is pulled up for a strong challenge on Gary Dicker.

The big striker escapes with a word of warning from referee Steven MacLean.

At the free-kick, Killie's Stuart Findlay does get booked for a push on Cosgrove and, when the ball is finally played into the penalty box, fellow defender Kirk Broadfoot is shown a red card for sliding in with a challenge that results in his foot colliding with the face of goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

Both sides are better than this. It’s very competitive but the football is disappointing. It’s been really scrappy but I think Aberdeen have just had the better of it.

  11. Dundee muster an effort on targetpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

A rare sight of goal for Dundee as they win a free-kick and Ryan McGowan rises highest to get a header on target. It's an easy gather for keeper Zander Clark, though, and brief respite for Jim McIntyre's men as Saints are straight back on the attack.

    Livingston 1-1 St Mirren

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at the Tony Macaroni Arena

In the space of 10 first-half minutes, we’ve seen Livingston reduced to 10 men, then take the lead before being pegged back by St Mirren.

Both goals involved great football and short-passing, but maybe the defending left a little to be desired.

  16. Not a thing of beauty...published at 15:29 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Aberdeen

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

This might be a pivotal match in the race for Europe, but the football is decidedly un-European. A direct, scrappy, physical game so far. Fouls every 10 seconds, it feels like.

Plenty for the crowd to chew over as they bask in the sunshine. But not much in the way of the beautiful game in the beautiful weather.

    Paul McGinn

A fantastic run from Paul McGinn as he drives the ball deep into the six yard box and just when it looked like there was no way he could score from that angle, he hits it right through Livi goalkeeper Liam Kelly's legs into the bottom right of the net.

A bit of a howler from Kelly...

  19. Dundee on the ropespublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 20 April 2019

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee

Saints close to the opening goal and again Matty Kennedy is the creator. His wicked inswinging left-wing cross is met by the head of Callum Hendry and it takes another top save from Seny Dieng at his near post to tip the ball wide. Dundee living very dangerously.
