  1. A frustrating first-half for Citypublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 6 May 2019

    Man City 0-0 Leicester

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

A frustrating first 45 minutes for Manchester City's players, and their fans.

The home crowd are getting most upset about the time Foxes keeper Kasper Schmeichel is taking over his goal-kicks, but Leicester are causing Pep Guardiola's side their fair share of problems at the other end of the pitch too.

The defending champions need to step it up in the second half, in the same way they have done in their recent wins over Manchester United and Burnley.

  2. 'Foxes impressive, Blues nervous'published at 20:51 British Summer Time 6 May 2019

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

    Paul Lake
Former Manchester City defender on Radio Manchester

Leicester have more than held their own, I am really impressed by how they are set up and they have managed City well.

It needs an injection of something else from Manhester City to give them another option. With David Silva on a yellow, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bernardo move to the middle and Sane come on.

All in all a very nervous first half from Manchester City and they need something to calm the nerves.

So, Leicester become only the third side this season not to concede a first-half goal in a Premier League game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

The other two were Watford, who conceded straight after the restart and West Ham, who lasted 59 minutes.

The home fans aren't happy with how much time Kasper Schmeichel is taking over every restart. It was ever thus. Bernardo Silva has a low shot easily held by the former City keeper.

Ash Williams: I’ve not seen City look this frustrated so far this season. Leicester are looking like a team in control.

Mark Taylor: Even if City drop points tonight Wolves are more than capable of upsetting apple carts come Sunday

Kadri Spirit: Foden for Sane? I don't really understand. Pep must be joking.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 44 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Vincent Kompany has to dive in to a tackle after a tame header and he's booked - James Maddison was too sharp and too fast.

The hosts going a bit more direct now, looking for Raheem Sterling over the top but Harry Maguire is the man for that job, nodding out a couple of crosses. A corner, dealt with, before Raheem Sterling hits David Silva with a shot and Phil Foden crosses behind the goal.

    It's getting tense...

This has been the best I have seen a side set up against Manchester City. Leicester are going toe-to-toe.

    Oh... stuff.

    What stuff?

I was thinking about DH Lawrence, actually.

    Yeah? What about him?

    Well... Well... about his books.

Talk about courage on the ball, Wilfred Ndidi takes possession when it looks dangerous but he finds a great ball out to Ricardo on the right. The ball does come back in and Bernardo Silva is again shut out brilliantly by Chilwell and Choudhury.

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Such is Manchester City's eagerness to get the game going again that Bernardo Silva ran behind the Leicester goal-line to get it back and throw to Kasper Schmeichel.

The hosts have a head of steam up now. They want a goal before half-time.

Steve Dean: As the great Bill Shankly used to say 'all games start 0-0, don't let it get any worse'

Karl Kondal: Clear Man City tactic.. every time they lose the ball they foul Leicester on the half way line. Horrible!

Leicester were really under the microscope for a few minutes there but they stood up well to the challenge. They fashion another counter of their own and Marc Albrighton's low cross is a good one but Ederson sweeps it up smartly.

  18. CLOSE!published at 34 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Wilfred Ndidi has been superb for Leicester so far and he makes a cracking tackle inside the area. No quarter given.

Here comes the goal-line replay - yeah it was never in, off the bar and tipped away by an alert Kasper Schmeichel. Davild Silva then shoots just wide!
