    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Leicester have had 47% of the early possession which is no mean feat at the home of Pep Guardiola's side. Remember, Manchester City have scored 99 goals at home this season in all comps. Ludicrous.

Leicester keep the ball nicely, Harry Maguire pings over a fine ball to Ben Chilwell but the ball does just go out of play.

  2. 'Brilliant from Kompany but Leicester doing well'published at 20:11 British Summer Time 6 May 2019

It takes real experience to know what challenge to make, and that is exactly what Vincent Kompany did there. These last two minutes it has been all Leicester – they have Maddison, Vardy, Tielemans all playing a long way up the pitch, Bernardo Silva is being pushed right back and they have started the brighter.

  3. CLOSE!published at 11 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

And now close at the other end! Leicester look for offside as a dinked pass over the top finds Phil Foden streaking through the middle. He takes it on his chest, swivels and shoots all in one motion but it's straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

    Offside? Looked tight.

  4. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Lovely Leicester football again! James Maddison flicks it neatly over the defence, right-back Ricardo charges into the area, for a half second I thought he was going to go down under a challenge but he stays on his feet and shoots. Blocked!

Marc Albrighton then has a shot charged down. If we keep this up all game there will be some kittens born tonight up and down the land...

  5. 'Vardy's in the mood'published at 20:07 British Summer Time 6 May 2019

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

    Paul Lake
Former Manchester City defender on Radio Manchester

Leicester have not panicked, they have tried to pass it but Vardy is that one player who looks to be really in the mood tonight.

  6. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

It's a composed spell from the visitors, happy to play out from the back against the sky-high press. There's the error though, Jonny Evans passes straight to David Silva which is never an ideal decision! Sergio Aguero lines up a shot but Youri Tielemans nips in to win it back. Not just an artist!

No matter what happens tonight, we already know the Premier League title will be decided on the final day.

It doesn't happen very often, this will only be the eighth time.

And funnily enough two of City's three recent successes have been achieved in the last game, including, in 2012, probably the most famous one of all.

That can't happen again - can it?

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Good football that! Leicester sprinkle the play around neatly, earning some continental style whistling from the home fans, before Ben Chilwell has a dangerous cross on the overlap turned away.

Leicester aren't here to lie down. As you'd expect.

City boss Pep Guardiola asked for one final effort from his side's fans tonight, and so far they are responding. There were chants of "we shall not be moved" from the home supporters as the game got under way, followed by "champions of England, we know what we are".

    The atmosphere is crackling nicely.

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Manchester City will have an awful lot of the ball but what can Leicester do on the break? Their first counter is a good one, Jamie Vardy and James Maddison linking up well and Maddison earning a foul from Oleksandr Zinchenko.

    Manchester City 0-0 Leicester

Mike Dean gets into the game by pinging for a foul in the penalty area...

It's against a City attacker though, foul on Harry Maguire.

Vincent Kompany spreads a lovely ball out wide and straight away Bernardo Silva is able to get a cross into the middle. The fast start we expected from the champions.

As a life long Liverpool fan and a scouser, I just cannot understand why people are so against us winning the league!? We do everything right as a club, play beautiful, flowing football. Charismatic, passionate manager. One of the best stadiums and atmospheres in the world ... and, we deserve it more than anyone for this season. Surely, if we win. Football wins?

Manchester City v Leicester (20:00 BST)

Leicester are looking to complete the top-flight double over Manchester City for the first time since the 1986-87 campaign, while they’re also looking to do the double against the reigning top-flight champions for the first time since 1985-86 against Everton.

If they do the repercussions will rebound all the way down the M62.
