  2. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

Too little, too late. The whistle goes and it's a comfortable victory for West Ham.

  3. Postpublished at 90 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

Southampton are really trying to get a late consolation in this one.

  4. Postpublished at 90 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

Three minutes added on at the London Stadium.

Some West Ham fans have already left - I hope they're on their way to Wembley for the Women's FA Cup final! They have got 42 minutes to get there...

  5. Postpublished at 86 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

It came just moments after Nathan Redmond's leg proved just too short to meet a James Ward-Prowse cross in front of goal.

Another inch or two taller and that would have been in.

  6. Postpublished at 86 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

Marko Arnautovic almost had his hat-trick there.

Lucas Perez finds him on the edge of the box, he controls it, then curls the ball towards the top corner but it just drifts wide of goal.

West Ham fans thought it was in!

  7. Postpublished at 83 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

A free-kick for West Ham here from a decent way out. Marko Arnautovic fancies this and is stood over the ball.

Hold up, there's another West Ham substitution. Lucas Perez on for Manuel Lanzini.

Back to that free-kick. Arnautovic's effort goes wide.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 78 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

Applause all around the London Stadium as Hammers captain Mark Noble departs the pitch.

Carlos Sanchez is on in his place.

Saints also made a change a couple of minutes ago, with Oriol Romeu replacing Mario Lemina

  9. Postpublished at 77 mins

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

It's all West Ham. Those quickfire goals have taken the wind out of Southampton and it's a long way back now.

    Another substitution incoming.

  10. Postpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    West Ham 3-0 Southampton

I asked for goals and they came.

    You're welcome, West Ham fans...

  11. goal

GOAL - West Ham 3-0 Southamptonpublished at 72 mins

    Ryan Fredericks

Crikey. Where have these goals come from?

It's Ryan Fredericks' first Premier League goal.

He plays a one-two with Jack Wilshere, the ball breaks for him to have a go and he fires it past Fraser Forster.

Three points surely staying in London now.

  12. goal

GOAL - West Ham 2-0 Southamptonpublished at 69 mins

    Marko Arnautovic

Two for West Ham. Two for Marko Arnautovic.

Arthur Masuaku steams down the left hand-side of the box, his cross is punched out by Fraser Forster but it bounces off Arnautovic, who heads it in from about a metre out.

Not much Forster could do about that one. Harsh on Southampton.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

    A change for both sides.

Stuart Armstrong is off for Southampton and James Ward-Prowse replaces him.

Jack Wilshere replaces Grady Diangana for the hosts.

  14. Postpublished at 65 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

Penalty? No. The referee waves Shane Long to get up.

As he 's running into the box, Ryan Fredericks seems to clatter him to the ground, but the replay shows Long has already played the ball and there's nothing Fredericks can do to get out of the way.

  15. CLOSE!published at 64 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

    So. Close.

Nathan Redmond is making a brilliant impact here. A shot from outside the area is deflected out for a corner. From that corner, he hits a terrific volley that is destined for goal, but Lukasz Fabianski just about tips it over the bar.

West Ham not dealing with Redmond, at all.

  16. YELLOW CARD - Manuel Lanzinipublished at 63 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

Manuel Lanzini goes into the book for a lunging challenge which brings down Ryan Bertrand.

That came after he found himself on the edge of the box, with a multitude of options, but instead kicked it straight into a defender's legs.

  17. Postpublished at 60 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

Chance for Saints. Shane Long puts in a gliding pass to Mohamed Elyounoussi, who knocks it from his left foot to his right but can't get the shot away. Probably should have done better there.

End-to-end stuff. But let's have a goal, someone.

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

An excellent challenge from Mark Noble stops Stuart Armstrong as he's steaming towards goal, just in the nick of time from the West Ham captain.

A couple of heavy challenges going in from both sides, but the ref's happy to let play go on.

  20. Postpublished at 55 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Southampton

West Ham are slowly finding their feet again and perhaps had a couple of half-decent shouts for a free-kick. Stuart Attwell's not having it though.
