  8. A 'new start' for Saintspublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

West Ham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    Southampton

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl: "We are happy, we worked very hard to stay in the league. We came from a very difficult position.

"It is fantastic we are safe and it is like a re-start, a new start. For the future, doing it better is the important thing."

  9. Pellegrini eyes Europe in second seasonpublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

West Ham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    West Ham United

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini on his first season at West Ham: "I have enjoyed it. I have come to a big club, the Premier League is the best league in the world so I am of course happy.

"I also want to do it better, this is the first time I have not qualified for Europe so I hope that next season we will do it."

  10. 'Saints' risk paid off'published at 14:52 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

West Ham v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Sport

West Ham became the first away team to win at Tottenham's new stadium last week and although they are very up and down, I have a feeling they will sign off with another good performance in their last home game of the season.

Southampton are safe, and the risk they took when they appointed Ralph Hasenhuttl as manager in December has definitely paid off.

Hasenhuttl will now know all about his squad - and what they can and cannot do - and it will be very interesting to see who he tries to sign in the summer.

WWE wrestler Sin Cara is out on the pitch at Molineux.

At least we think it's him, can't tell beneath that mask... the one Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has been donning after he scores.

  12. Fulham 'want to move things forward'published at 14:47 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Wolves v Fulham (15:00 BST)

    Fulham

Fulham caretaker manager Scott Parker: "It's a difficult league to go and win three on the bounce and the players have done very well. We've shown the quality we have.

"Now we are three or four weeks from knowing we have been relegated, it is probably best now we really move things forward.

"Whether that is me leading this team trying to get back into the Premier League or whether it is somebody else, it is probably better it happens a bit quicker than later."

  13. Heavy win for Wolves?published at 14:44 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

Fulham keep on winning, and keep on keeping clean sheets too. It has obviously come too late to keep them up, but their recent results should mean caretaker-boss Scott Parker gets the job permanently.

I think the Cottagers' run ends on Saturday, though. Wolves have had an extremely impressive campaign and they should sign off with a win in their final home game. They deserve a fantastic send-off.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0 Tommy Fleetwood's prediction: 4-0

  14. 'The focus is to improve'published at 14:42 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

    Wolves v Fulham (15:00 BST)

    Wolves

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo: "When you perform well and achieve good results against tough teams and opponents, it always increases the levels of confidence.

"In every game when things aren't going well, we try to achieve a moment of reaction - from all of us. The focus is always to improve in training and then try to perform well in the competition."

  16. Warnock wary of Wilfpublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 4 May 2019

Cardiff v Crystal Palace (17:30 BST)

Wilfried Zaha had a loan spell at Cardiff during his time at Manchester United before returning to Crystal Palace to play under Neil Warnock, who says the winger will be "the best player on the pitch" when they meet again later this afternoon.

"I know Cardiff were a bit disappointed with him when they had him here, but Manchester United had let him down badly," Warnock said.

"Wilfried wasn't in a good place when he came back. I met him in the chairman's office and I had half an hour with him.

"It was obvious he felt let down by Manchester United and when I spoke to him I could understand why he felt that.

"He was only a young lad and he needed help - an arm around the shoulder. It didn't appear he got any of that.

"Everyone knows that when Wilfried gets the ball, he's dangerous - and he'll probably go on to a top club in the new few years."

Cardiff v Crystal Palace (17:30 BST)

It is now or never for Cardiff. Anything less than a win and they are down, however Brighton get on against Arsenal on Sunday.

Sadly for the Bluebirds, I think this game might sum up their season. You cannot fault their efforts over the past few months, but ultimately they have not had enough quality to stay in the top flight.

They started badly, taking only two points from their first nine games, so for them to still have a chance of survival at this late stage is a credit to them and their manager Neil Warnock. Huddersfield and Fulham have been down for weeks - but Cardiff have battled on.

Cardiff v Crystal Palace (17:30 BST)

Kenneth Zohore should be fit for Cardiff but Aron Gunnarsson is a doubt and Harry Arter is likely to miss out.

Sol Bamba, Callum Paterson, Joe Ralls and Matthew Connolly are all sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Crystal Palace will be without Christian Benteke, who took a blow to his cheekbone during the draw with Everton and has not trained all week.

Mamadou Sakho, James Tomkins, Jeffrey Schlupp and Pape Souare are also ruled out by injuries.

If Cardiff lose today, they are relegated. If they draw, there is still hope for Neil Warnock's side but they will be relying on Brighton to not pick up a point in their final two games - against Arsenal and Manchester City.

However, even a draw against Crystal Palace would leave the Bluebirds three points behind their nearest relegation rivals and with a significantly worse goal difference.

They would then need to beat Manchester United on the final day of the season to stand any chance of avoiding the drop.
