There may be little riding on this game but the goals are flowing!

This is probably the pick of the bunch as Jefferson Lerma gets the ball 25 yards out with his back to goal, he turns and then drills the ball into the top left-hand corner.

As a Man Utd fan, depressing watching City and Liverpool fighting for the title while we are struggling against Cardiff.

    James, Oxford

Every time I watch Man Utd there is no enjoyment any more just anger and hatred. I'd rather watch Man City and Liverpool fight for the league teams that want to play for the shirt.

    Brighton 1-2 Man City

    Alan Shearer
    Match of the Day pundit

City did not panic after going behind but that was a vital time for them to get their equaliser. Since then, they have settled down and looked a lot more like their usual selves.

They still need another goal to get a bit of breathing space, but they have got Brighton pegged back and are looking dangerous.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Wolves

Off the bar! A huge scare for Liverpool as Wolves put together a lovely counter-attack. Diogo Jota finds the ever-impressive Matt Doherty driving up on the overlap, he must be a good 20 yards out but just sidefoots a curler over Alisson and against the top of the crossbar!

Would have been a brilliant goal.

Manchester City are possibly the only team that have those gears they can go through when they need to get better, need to play quicker and get a goal they will find a way.

Jordan Hart: Difficult as a Man United fan to watch this title race. Along with the two European finals. All our biggest rivals. Meanwhile we are losing to Cardiff. Massive rebuild job required and Ole needs to build a reputation by signing Daniel James and some other youngsters.

    Brighton 1-2 Manchester City

Raheem Sterling gets into space inside the area once again and slides the ball across goal - where Bernardo is well placed to hack it clear.

Since Glenn Murray scored Manchester City have been scintillating in attack.

  16. goal

GOAL - Southampton 1-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 12 May 2019

    Nathan Redmond (41 mins)

    What a strike!

Just what this game needed after a relatively drab first 40 minutes.

The Terriers had largely defended well for much of the half but the first bit of space Nathan Redmond has on the edge of the area he takes full advantage to bend a strike just under Joel Coleman's bar from outside the box.

Almost a second goal at Old Trafford...

    ...for Cardiff!

Josh Murphy takes a touch and curls one from the edge of the box to the far post, but David de Gea springs high to his left to tip the ball away.

I’ve never known a season like it, it’s been sensational, and with the way that both teams have managed games in the last quarter of the season that’s been so important.
