  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 101 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Villa bring on Jonathan Kodjia in place of Anwar El Ghazi.

While West Brom have used their regulation three substitutions and the extra one granted in extra-time, Villa still have two left up their sleeve.

John McGinn almost unlocks the Baggies defence with a wonderful through ball but Tammy Abraham can't quite get on the end of it.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 98 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

James Morrison becomes the third Baggies player to go in the book for a late challenge on Conor Hourihane.

Villa play a sloppy ball forward but get it back again as West Brom cannot get up the pitch.

The West Brom faithful erupt as Jonathan Leko looks to be in on goal after a counter attack.

But the substitute uses his hand to control the ball and referee Chris Kavanagh rightly blows up.

    A warning for Villa though.

Mark Rankin: Extra time in the Villa v West Brom game then. Hopefully we can do the business against Derby and go up against tired legs.

James Levy: I can’t be the only fan of Leeds (and Derby) hoping this goes all the way to penalties. The longer they have to play for the better it is for us at Wembley! Also, given the players WBA keep losing, here’s hoping they win!

I'm sure there are far more interested onlookers in Leeds and Derby...

We understandably get a few questions on this, so let me set the records straight.

There's no away goals rule in the play-offs - not after 90 or 120 minutes.

And we'll play the full extra 30 minutes regardless. No golden goal etc. Strap yourselves in!

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 93 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Expect Villa to add to the 67% possession they had in the regular 90 minutes.

But West Brom have shown plenty of heart and desire tonight - expect them to put up a real fight, even with 10 men.

The visitors have a throw-in deep in enemy territory but first Albion take off Jay Rodriguez - who gets a standing ovation as Jonathan Leko replaces him.

Fair play to Albion, they're trying every trick in the book to keep the fans buzzing.

They've just stuck The Liquidator back on for a second play, and the fans have responded.

  8. Extra-timepublished at 91 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

It's always insightful to see the team-talks held on the pitch.

Both teams are in huddles as both Dean Smith and Jimmy Shan try to plot a way to get to a Wembley final.

    But we're off again now.

    Well that was pretty frantic.

Please keep your thoughts coming in using #bbcefl on social media - if I've got to do an extra 30 minutes, so do you!

Will Villa's extra man count or can the Baggies continue to out-fight them?

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:53 British Summer Time 14 May 2019

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Yes they have - we have extra-time at The Hawthorns!

West Brom have won 'on the night' - in 90 minutes - thanks to Craig Dawson's first-half header.

The hosts have been the better side but had Chris Brunt sent off with 10 minutes to go, handing the initiative to a Villa side who'll have the extra man in this additional 30 minutes.

Into the last 60 seconds of normal time and Villa aren't pumping it forward.

They get it wide to Jack Grealish but West Brom scramble clear.

Have they made it to extra-time?

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

West Brom win a free-kick and can slow things down a bit.

They bring the big boys forward and will launch this into the Villa box...

Oh no, Mason Holgate woefully overhits the cross out for a goal kick.

  13. Postpublished at 90+2 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

John McGinn gets his head to a Anwar El Ghazi cross but Ahmed Hegazi gets it behind for a Villa corner.

It comes out to Conor Hourihane outside the box but he can't connect with either of his two efforts, and there's to be no repeat of his first-leg strike.

  14. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90+1 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

We're into FIVE minutes of added time and it's all a bit stretched.

Villa with the ball on the edge of the West Brom box...

  15. Postpublished at 90 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

While there's only a minute plus stoppage time remaining, Villa must remember they have the safety net of extra-time against the 10 men of West Brom.

There's no need to do anything stupid...

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 88 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

    What a save Sam Johnstone!

The ball bobbles around the Baggies box and Albert Adomah lashes one with his left foot, only to see Johnstone get a strong hand to it.

From a resulting corner the keeper saves again from a long-range John McGinn effort.

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Anwar El Ghazi lifts a high ball to the back post where Conor Hourihane is unmarked, but the Irishman can only head limply into the hands of Sam Johnstone.

But Villa are coming forward incessantly now. Can they find a late goal to avoid having to go to extra-time?

  19. Postpublished at 84 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Fans at The Hawthorns continue to get right behind their side - I think they realise the West Brom players will need all the encouragement they can get now.

Villa are patiently probing and win a corner after Kyle Bartley heads behind.

  20. Postpublished at 83 mins

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

The Baggies now look content to hold onto what they have for extra-time.

Attacking player Jacob Murphy is replaced by defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

Eight minutes to go plus stoppage time.
