  1. Bolton start food bank for unpaid staffpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 14 May 2019

HT: West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Bolton Wanderers have set up an emergency food bank with donations from local businesses to help out staff who have not been paid.

During a turbulent year for the club on and off the field, non-playing employees have not been paid for April.

The Trotters, who were relegated to League One this season, became the first club to enter administration for six years on Monday.

"We're grateful for the support," club chaplain Phil Mason said.

"Often there is this perception that within football, people are paid a king's ransom, but of course the reality is that a lot of staff behind the scenes are on significantly low wages."

Swansea City have rejected an approach from Brighton for manager Graham Potter.

Potter has emerged as a leading contender to take over at the Amex Stadium following the sacking of Chris Hughton.

Potter, 43, signed a three-year deal when he left Swedish side Ostersunds FK for Swansea in June 2018 and led the Welsh side to a 10th-placed finish in the Championship this season.

Premier League referee Mike Dean standing on a barrier, leading the party and punching the air in delight as his beloved Tranmere Rovers beat Forest Green to reach the League Two play-off final.

No, I didn't think I'd ever see anything like it either.

Before it started, I said it would be tight.

Craig Dawson got himself free and it's a great guiding header. That's the only chance Albion had in the first half, but I was pleased the way they set about the game.

There's not been a lot of chances and that goal has opened the tie up once again.

The hosts have relied on hard work and set-pieces - which doesn't sound glamorous - but has got results so far tonight.

Craig Dawson's glancing slo-mo header has them ahead at The Hawthorns, and level at 2-2 on aggregate against Aston Villa.

You can get ready for extra-time as things stand, but there's plenty of time for the situation to change.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 14 May 2019

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

There's a little stoppage here as John McGinn takes issue with a tackle from West Brom's Chris Brunt.

McGinn is brought down and is then stepped on, but it's hard to tell whether there was any malice.

Anyway, the referee has seen enough and blows for half-time.

West Brom have the Villa backline under a bit of pressure - Axel Tuanzebe and Neil Taylor both making errors under pressure.

We're into one added minute at the end of this first half.

West Brom 1-0 Aston Villa (2-2 agg)

Villa's right-hand side has been very quiet - Andre Green got the nod over Albert Adomah tonight but has shown very little so far.

Meanwhile, Jay Rodriguez, Matt Phillips and Stefan Johansen continue to press very high up the pitch for West Brom.

Let me remind you that as it stands we would have extra-time, as there's no away goals rule in the play-offs...

The question for Albion was - without the suspended Dwight Gayle, who bagged the majority of his 24 goals this season here at The Hawthorns, had they got the cutting edge?

Well, from an old, familiar route to goal of Albion's in recent years, the answer is yes.

    First knockdown to Craig Dawson.

A lot happier experience for him than at Villa Park on Saturday, when he was under the weather, sick both in the dressing room and on the pitch - and had to be subbed at half-time.

The Baggies are getting right in the faces of the Villa faces, and go a bit far this time.

Jack Grealish nudges the ball past Stefan Johansen but takes a clattering from the Norway midfielder.

The Villa playmaker then wins another free-kick - just outside the box - after a shove from Mason Holgate.

Big chance here for the visitors.

Albion caretaker Jimmy Shan will be keeping his cool, but he knows his side now have a great chance of getting to Wembley.

The hosts launch another free-kick into the Villa area and they don't look comfortable, but Ahmed Hegazi is penalised for pushing keeper Jed Steer.

Villa clear the corner for a throw-in and think they've escaped the biggest threat.

But Mason Holgate launches one in and Craig Dawson glances a header slowly into the bottom corner.

It bounced in off the post and we're level on aggregate!

  16. Postpublished at 28 mins

West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa (1-2 agg)

There's no doubt West Brom are missing Dwight Gayle, but what Jay Rodriguez may lack in pace he makes up for in physical presence.

He's getting the Baggies up the pitch more now with his hold up play, and he presses Tyrone Mings into an error to win a corner for the hosts.

A nice little battle has emerged down the Villa left, with Anwar El Ghazi locking horns with West Brom wing-back Mason Holgate.

It's fair to say the young Baggies man has it on points so far, once again stopping his man in his tracks.

Both need to keep their heads in this rowdy atmosphere, though.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith said he wasn't happy with his team's first-leg performance, despite getting the 2-1 win.

Well I doubt he'll be particularly pleased with aspects of what he's seen here so far either, although this scoreline will be enough to send Villa to Wembley.

The visitors have dominated the ball but lacked the cutting edge they've shown so often over the past couple of months.

  19. Postpublished at 20 mins

West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa (1-2 agg)

West Brom press the Villa defence high and eventually get their reward, forcing them into a long, aimless ball.

But the Baggies are struggling to string much together themselves - Stefan Johansen feeds Jacob Murphy in the final third but he's shrugged off the ball a bit too easily.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 17 mins

West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa (1-2 agg)

Tyrone Mings deservedly goes into the book for Villa for flinging a hand at a corner kick.

He came steaming in, and that was a pretty silly thing to do.

On the plus side for the visitors, John McGinn is starting to get into the game, darting past players and feeding the wide men.
