Femi John Atoyebi: Burnley going hard against Arsenal in a pragmatic way rather than a purist fashion.

Bishop Yinkus: Nick Pope has been keeping all the balls away from going into the net but AubaGoal made sure he didn't see his shot come in.

Kay6cee:Arsenal have pace to burn, they carry huge goal threats, if they can sort their defence I see them taking that 4th place.

Unai Emery's celebration sums up the feelings of most inside the Emirates. Pure relief.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Guess who? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang breaks Burnley's resistance.

Dani Ceballos is the architect. The Spaniard works hard to win the ball back inside the Burnley half and supplies Aubameyang.

And he does the rest by cutting inside from the left and smashing in low past a helpless Nick Pope at his inside post

    Arsenal 1-1 Burnley

Arsenal are knocking at the Burnley door. Not quite like a pair of angry bailiffs. More like an annoyed neighbour. Heavy but not to the point of wanting to break the door down.

Nick Pope scrambles across goal to push Dani Ceballos's shot wide.

Here is that Burnley change. And it is a fresh pair of legs as Jay Rodriguez replaces Chris Wood up top.

More of the same will be Dyche's message. Run and press from the front.

...although an Arsenal goal may have changed Sean Dyche's thinking. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang suddenly wakes up, alert to a pass forward, taking a touch before bashing a low shot straight at Nick Pope's legs.

Another promising attack from Arsenal, but a heavy touch from Ainsley Maitland-Niles allows Dwight McNeil to stick a foot in and divert for a corner.

That eventually ends up at the feet of the makeshift Arsenal right-back... blazes it over.

Nicolas Pepe is urged to run at the Burnley defence - so he does. The Ivorian ends up down a cul-de-sac, checks and then looks to set Alex Lacazette away. But James Tarkowski spots the danger and heads clear.

All Arsenal. Apart from that attack which led to McNeil's shot, Burnley have barely had a kick since the break.

Warning sign for Arsenal though... if they give Burnley a sniff they will look to punish them.

The visitors find space on the left through Erik Pieters, with a loose ball falling nicely to Dwight McNeil. Into Row Z.

Dani Ceballos, by the way, has caught the eye for Arsenal. The on-loan Real Madrid midfielder directs the home side forward again, slipping in Nacho Monreal who in turn feeds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Only one thought on the mind of the Gunners goal-machine... shoot. But he can't bend his effort enough and it flies wide.

Unai Emery is expressive most of the time - but he's starting to get particularly animated now. The Arsenal boss is pacing up and down the touchline, arms everywhere like a traffic controller to direct his players.

That lands him in a spot of bother with the fourth official who warns him not to stray out of his box.

Arsenal, presumably after a rocket from Unai Emery, start straight on the front foot. The Gunners win an early corner, but it doesn't have the same effectiveness as Burnley's set pieces.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles eventually blasts over the bar.

It is not quite desperate times but it is time for measures from Unai Emery.

Record signing Nicolas Pepe is summoned from the bench... the £72m man replaces teenager Reiss Nelson.

How things might have been different if Nelson's late 'goal' wasn't ruled out.

Aleks Yakubssohn: Arsenal defence: Double the hair, same results.

Chumillionaire: Arsenal looking light in the middle, Nelson and Willock off, Pepe and Torreira on.

Nathan C J Hood: Luiz plays Barnes onside. Shouldn't have expected anything less - good ball player, can't defend.

    Arsenal 1-1 Burnley

Burnley have slung 12 crosses into the Arsenal box from open play, plus several more from set plays.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson (illustrated by his number seven) has taken on the role of Burnley's assassin, lining up seven of these deliveries which are scaring the life out of Arsenal.

    Ian Cox
Former Burnley and Crystal Palace defender on BBC Radio Lancashire

Sean Dyche should be very happy. Arsenal have had a lot of possession but overall Burnley have defended really well. Burnley’s best parts of the game was when Dwight McNeil was getting more of the ball. They need to play to the strengths of the boys up top, more balls into the box. It is important that they break quickly. They don't have a good record at the Emirates, but you feel like Burnley could get something here.

And what funky graphics don't show you is Arsenal's defensive vulnerability. How many times have we said that over the past X seasons?

Every ball pumped into the Gunners danger-zone is met with panic by the home side.
