By the way, Daniel James is the first Manchester United player to be booked for diving since Chris Smalling at Newcastle in February 2018.

Fantastic first-time finish from Anthony Martial.
That was his 50th Manchester United goal - the 53rd player to achieve that feat.

It was a really good move - incisive and quick inter-play.
Anthony Martial made a diagonal run and swung his left foot. It was a fantastic, instinctive finish.
I think United deserve their lead.
Anthony Martial
A beautiful United move down the left wing involving Jesse Lingard into Marcus Rashford and the England striker runs towards goal and slides a pass forward.
Maybe the overlapping Luke Shaw is the target, but Anthony Martial gets there first and he drills his shot into the roof of the net.
There were questions about Martial a few minutes ago when he failed to connect with Rashford's cross, but this time there is no mistake. Great finish. United lead.

If Daniel James dives again then he'll be sent off!
Wolves 0-0 Manchester United
Daniel James went down a bit easy earlier on and he has hit the ground again trying to buy a free-kick, with Joao Moutinho the nearest man to him.
The youngster, who showed the joy of football when he scored on his debut against Chelsea last week, really does not need to do that and needs that removed from his game quickly.
Referee Jon Moss is not conned and James gets a booking for simulation.

In his press conference on Friday, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he wanted Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to be more clinical in front of goal.
That was just what he meant. Martial wasn't committed enough then. I reckon Alan Shearer (a few years ago obviously) scores there.

First of all what a wonderful pass from Paul Pogba to Marcus Rashford who twisted Ryan Bennett inside out.
Anthony Martial had to be braver and go with his head. A natural striker would have gone with his head.
Wolves 0-0 Manchester United
Chance! Marcus Rashford spins past Ryan Bennett on the left side of the penalty area and the cross is a good one.
Anthony Martial, waiting in the middle, just needs to get a touch, but he can't get his body in the right position and the ball drifts out. That could've, and maybe should've, been 0-1.

Diogo Jota leads a Wolves charge with some United players out of position. Jota tries to square it for Ruben Neves, but Luke Shaw gets across to hack it clear.

Wolves are a side that won't be anywhere near the relegation zone - you can't say that about too many sides in their second season at this level.
Wolves 0-0 Manchester United
Diogo Jota gets pulled back by Paul Pogba. The Frenchman is not happy, wagging a finger in the direction of Jon Moss. The free-kick, 35 yards out, is floated into the box and finds the head of Harry Maguire, who is well positioned to clear the danger.

babyboomer: There doesn't look to be much midfield creativity in a red shirt. None on the red bench either apart from Mata, and he is a bit slow for away matches
sunday ogunmoye: Pogba will struggle in this United team largely because of a lack of a classic No.10. Lingard is not one.

Daniel James is now condemned to be booed by the Wolves fans for the remainder of the game.
They clearly felt the Manchester United man took a dive on the edge of the home box earlier.
James disagrees - as he pointed out to referee Jon Moss.

Some dancing feet from Raul Jimenez running at the away goal before he is eventually crowded out and the visitors concede a corner, but Wolves fail to make the most of it.

England manager Gareth Southgate is among the crowd at Molineux to check up on Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Luke Shaw. It could be a big night for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He only has under-21 caps to his name, could he get the full call-up soon?
Can Ryan Bennett and Conor Coady catch the eye of the England boss as well?

Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio has to knock the ball out for a throw-in, but Rashford fails to find Martial as the keeper gets away with a bit of a panic.
