    Barnsley were two leagues below Fulham last season but they've bridged the gap to beat the Cottagers.

    The Tykes dominated the first half, with Luke Thomas getting the goal, and while Fulham fought back in the second half they simply couldn't find a way through.

    Lyle Taylor gets the winner for newly promoted Charlton, who were responsible for all three goals at Ewood Park.

    Ben Purrington's opener was cancelled out by Dillon Phillips' unlucky own goal, but talisman Taylor made the difference to beat Blackburn.

    One of the Championship title favourites Cardiff are beaten at Wigan on the opening weekend!

    The Latics trailed at half time and Josh Windass then missed a penalty, but Paul Cook's side came roaring back with goals from Michael Jacobs, Windass and a Lee Evans stunner.

    Food for thought for Neil Warnock.

    Kristian Pedersen's brilliant header from outside the box was enough for Birmingham to seal the win for Pep Clotet's men.

    Brentford did dominate the game and hit the woodwork three times in the first-half but could not find a way past Blues keeper Lee Camp.
