Perfect timing from Kris Ajer. The visitors were gaining confidence and proving stuffy opposition despite Celtic’s control of the game.

The longer it went, the more on edge this game would have become. There’s now a real opportunity to take this tie by the scruff of the neck.

Mikey Johnston’s introduction may provide greater threat although defensively it could leave Celtic slightly exposed.

There’s now an abundance of attacking threat on the pitch.

What a delivery from Christie, a brilliant ball between the goalkeeper and the centre-half. Kristoffer Ajer gets across at the near post to meet it.

Leigh Griffiths curls a free kick into the defensive wall and the ball spins up into the air before falling invitingly for Scott Brown just eight yards out.

The Celtic captain slides to lash his shot goal-wards, but big keeper Pavel Londak is out quickly to make a fantastic block.

Celtic are looking purposeful and well on top. It seems a matter of when the opener will arrive rather than if, but they will have to breach goalkeeper Pavel Londak who was sensational in the last round.

However, the warning just arrived. Kalju broke down the right in behind Boli Bolingoli and suddenly it was three on three. Peeter Klein really ought to have netted with the goal gaping.

It is also interesting to see Nomme Kalju go with two strikers. Presumably the game plan was to occupy Celtic’s backline and get numbers forward when they can. They’ve done that effectively once and it nearly paid off spectacularly.

Callum McGregor weaves his way forward and looks like he's going to pull the trigger but just delays too long. He wins a corner and Leigh Griffiths provides another good delivery. It drops in the mixer but no Celtic player can get the vital touch.

Ooft... A big scare for Celtic as Nomme Kalju spring a quick counter and Peeter Klein is racing in at the near post to meet a great cross. He's up in front of his man, Nir Bitton, but can only get the slightest of touches and can't divert the ball on target.

Ryan Christie picks up a headed clearance and lets rip with a ferocious shot, which veteran goalkeeper Pavel Londak does well to get fingertips to as he pushes it round his post.

Celtic are controlling the ball, lots of passing and movement, it's just taking a wee while to come to terms with this Kalju team. They're in the middle of their season, they're fit and they'll move around the pitch well.
