  2. A proper derby ding dongpublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 27 August 2019

Nottingham Forest v Derby (19:45 BST)

"They told me on the first day I came in about the rivalry, so I am looking forward to it."

Rams boss Phillip Cocu has plenty of big game experience with the likes of Barcelona and the Netherlands, but will taste the East Midlands derby for the first time.

Just 15 miles separate the two sides and has seen manager clashes and pitch invasions aplenty over the years.

Forest go into the game unbeaten in five in all competitions while Derby have not won any of their last three.

  3. Team newspublished at 19:12 British Summer Time 27 August 2019

    Fulham v Southampton (19:45 BST)

Nine changes for Fulham with Joe Bryan and Stefan Johansen the only survivors that started the 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Midfielder Josh Onomah, who joined as part of the deal which took Ryan Sessegnon to Tottenham, makes his first appearance.

This competition has been disregarded by many managers, so it is refreshing to see one taking it seriously.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl said: “I am prioritising the cups in a high way this year. We concentrate absolutely on this cup competition.

"We want to come in the next round of the cup for sure and that’s the reason I take the best possible team for Tuesday.”

Southampton collected their first Premier League win of the season at Brighton on Saturday, while Fulham have won three of their last five.

This particular live text is one of my favourite ones in a season.

36 teams in action all at the same time, goals flying in all over the shop, having no idea who plays for which club. Absolute chaos.

The good news for you is that there is no extra time and you can have an early night.

The bad news for me is trying to talk you through the penalty shootouts. *crying emoji*
