    Man City 5-0 Watford

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

The Watford fans give their side an ironic cheer when they manage to clear their lines from a corner. I think they were being ironic anyway...

    Man City 5-0 Watford

A Manchester City attack doesn't end with a goal.

Sergio Aguero drives to the backline and cuts it back but Adrian Mariappa is there to nod it out for a corner.

Sam: Think a canary must have rattled the City cage!

Peter Collins: Somebody tell Man City that Watford aren't the same yellow team that beat them last week. Its like they're out for revenge, but they've got the wrong team!

  5. 'Needs to bring on 10'published at 15:20 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Man City 5-0 Watford

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm just looking at the Watford players. They've switched off completely and nobody is doing anything about it.

I've got to say that the players should have more pride. After the first goal, they looked OK but they gave up after the second.

The manager is warming up three subs - he probably wants to bring on 10.

Moise Kean heads wide, more good Everton pressure and then it all kicks off down in the corner. Pushing and shoving, George Baldock in the thick of it...

At this goalscoring rate, Man City are on course to win 26-0 - that's not including extra-time.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:17 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Everton 0-0 Sheffield United

Good effort! Lucas Digne gets on the end of a flowing Everton move, he looks like putting in an early cross but shoots instead and it's a decent save down to his right by Dean Henderson.

    Nicolas Otamendi

Someone send help to the Etihad!

Sergio Aguero is played in on the left and he cuts it back into the six yard box. It's centre-back Nicolas Otamendi who is on the end of it to poke it in.

Prnajaf: Watford rolling over and asking for their tummy to be tickled.

SonsofPitches8: What the hell is this!? A rugby world cup game!?

Barney Stone: Plenty of time for Watford to get back into this.

    Thanks for the balance, Barney.

  12. 'It's poor defending from Norwich'published at 15:16 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Burnley 2-0 Norwich

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

Chris Wood is one of Burnley's most crucial players for scoring headers and he is exactly where you want him. It's such a simple header but it is really poor defending from Norwich. You cannot get away with that in the Premier League.

  13. 'Woeful'published at 15:15 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Man City 4-0 Watford

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's woeful defending from Watford. Who is marking Bernardo Silva? He's four yards out with nobody anywhere near him.

This could end up in double figures.

    Bernardo Silva

    Jeez.

Kevin de Bruyne's corner is nodded on by Nicolas Otamendi and lands on the head of Bernardo Silva, who is completely unmarked. He just steers it into the goal.

    This is ruthless.

  15. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Man City 3-0 Watford

Sergio Aguero's first-time pass into the path of Kevin de Bruyne is excellent and the Belgian can cross it first time.

Craig Dawson does well to get the block in.

  16. goal

GOAL - Burnley 2-0 Norwichpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Chris Wood (14 mins)

Beat Manchester City one week, get gubbed on the road at Turf Moor the next. Norwich City are good fun.

It's awful defending again, Dwight McNeil's run and cross is decent but again Chris Wood is all alone to put into the roof of the net from about three yards out.

  17. 'Good fortune'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Man City 3-0 Watford

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's a lot of good fortune about this one.

It's hit Tom Cleverley in the face, flown one way and Ben Foster's already dived past it.

This a real test of character for the new manager and his team. They've got nothing to lose now so they might as well have a go. At least he'll see who has got a bit about them.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Burnley 1-0 Norwich

Norwich captain Alex Tettey has only lasted 12 minutes here before having to come off. Pulled up with a muscle injury of some kind. You'll be able to see the treatment room at Carrow Road from space soon.

    On comes Moritz Leitner.

  19. goal

    Riyad Mahrez

Oh dear. This could be a long afternoon.

Riyad Mahrez's free-kick actually comes off the face of Tom Cleverley and hits the back of the net - wrong-stepping Ben Foster.

  20. 'Look beaten'published at 15:11 British Summer Time 21 September 2019

    Man City 2-0 Watford

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can see the body language of the Watford players now.

They had a great response when they went one down and Gerard Deulofeu really should have scored.

Now, they already look a beaten team. It just shows that you have to take your chances against Man City.
