    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

Man Utd are trying to create something. A patient build-up switches from left to right before Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cross is blocked.

He takes a quick throw-in to Scott McTominay and the Scotland international does brilliantly well to win a corner off a powerful strike from the tight angle.

You wonder about West Ham - do they make changes, do they go more defensive? I say not. Manchester United don't look too much like attacking and with Rashford off you cannot see how they would get a goal back. West Ham will not be comfortable but they look more comfortable than their opponents.

What a goal this would have been from Ruben Neves! He backheels Diogo Jota's cross from the left but Vicente Guaita is alert to get his hands on it at the near post.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolves

Diogo Jota is still complaining to the referee after he's caught in the face by Joel Ward. Patrick van Aanholt is down on the far side so it's a chance for others to take on some water.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

On comes Jesse Lingard. Marcus Rashford goes straight down the tunnel. It's going from bad to worse for Man Utd at the moment.

Anon: You do wonder not only who is going to create chances in this Man Utd team but also who is capable of finishing if they do? Rashford not good enough.

Stevie: If Ole is at the wheel then United need a new driver as this is terrible football.

Marcus Rashford has pulled up and this doesn't look good. He's getting treatment and Jesse Lingard is being prepared to come on.

Rashford is shaking his head disappointingly.

Colin Reardon: Where's Solskjaer's passion!? You see Guardiola and Klopp on the touchline full of energy and enthusiasm. From Solskjaer? Nothing!

Another lacklustre, uninspiring United performance. I watch them out of habit rather than desire these days.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

Scott McTominay is pushed wide but he manages to bundle a shot in from the right. It's never going to trouble the keeper though.

  12. 'Rashford is doing all the right things'published at 15:12 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is a seriously disappointing period of play. There are lots of quality players on this pitch but there is not much quality play at the minute. Marcus Rashford is doing all the right things but his teammates are not seeing him and not seeing his runs. He won't get any praise though.

  13. Postpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolves

It looks like that goal from Joel Ward has now been confirmed as an own goal by Leander Dendoncker.

No surprise - it was a massive deflection and the original effort was going wide.

It's crossed into the middle where Marcus Rashford is inches away from getting a toe on it.

About 15 years ago I attempted a Dennis Bergkamp double drag back in a match. I trod on the ball half way through, landed awkwardly and broke my wrist!

    Jon, Billericay

Playing in goal for a 5 a side footy team. Made a fairly standard save and quickly tried get play going by launching the ball towards a team mate. Unfortunately he wasn't facing me...I managed to catch the sweet spot on the back of his heel and could only watch the ball fly past me into the bottom corner of my own net. Turned round to see the opposition celebrating and my teammates rolling around on the floor in hysterics.

    Leander Dendoncker (own goal)

    What a start!

Jeffrey Schlupp dances past two players with a nutmeg and it's set up for Joel Ward on the edge of the box by James McCarthur.

Ward smashes it first time and it takes a big deflection off Leander Dendoncker and heads into the net!
