  1. 'What a brilliant free kick'published at 15:41 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    West Ham 2-0 Man Utd

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United have made mistakes giving that away in that area and Cresswell has utilised on it. What an absolutely brilliant free kick. With six or seven minutes left you cannot see Manchester United getting back in it now.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:40 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolves

Adama Traore hits it well inside the box but it takes a big deflection and bounces inches wide of the right post!

  3. goal

GOAL - West Ham 2-0 Man Utdpublished at 83 mins

    Aaron Cresswell

This is a brilliant, brilliant goal!

Ashley Young's foul gives Aaron Cresswell an opportunity to curl one in from a free-kick about 20 yards out.

He beats the wall and it flies straight into the top right corner. Nothing David de Gea could do about that.

    A peach!

Ashley Young comes in late on Mark Noble and goes into the book.

Less than 10 minutes for the hosts to hold on. Can they grab another one?

What is wrong with these United fans. We have a young squad, they're doing well , granted they're a little naive with their decision making but they're grafting. It wont be long till they actually start to click and do well. Keep the faith.

    Imran

Yes United are light on strikers but look at the injuries. They are playing youth players and just get constant criticism. Love to see Liverpool with the same amount of injuries people need to calm down. They are headed in right direction, need some more young signings and a bit of experience but will see the benefit in a couple of years.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:33 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

Aaron Cresswell takes a free-kick just outside the box and gets some decent curl on it. It's always going high though.

  9. 'Mata has been no where to be seen'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Juan Mata has had absolutely no impact in this game. If you are playing as a number 10 - which is where he is today - you have to have an impact and he has been no where to be seen.

That was very, very naughty. Should he have gone off?

Phil Beck: Really don't know whose decision it was to let Lukaku and Sanchez go without replacements but it's definitely not looking a good one now. I get there's a 'trust-in-youth' policy but that only works if they can stay fit when the first team aren't.

Paul Carl: Ole needs to be sacked after the game. Get Allegri in. Man United is a mess!

Tom: Let's be honest, 6 or 7 of those on the pitch for United wouldn't get in any other premier team, or for that matter any team.

Still work in progress at United. No spark in the club just now, no characters. Get Zlatan in January.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:26 British Summer Time 22 September 2019

    West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

The resulting corner is nodded down by Harry Maguire under pressure and it's bobbling around the six-yard box.

He picks up the loose ball again, hitting it cleanly towards goal but Lukasz Fabianski does well to get his body in the way and saves with his feet.
