  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

Another very good penalty shout for Germany! This time Timo Werner lashes in a shot which hits Craig Cathcart on the hand and skips just wide.

Nothing given - and from the corner Niklas Sule should score but miscontrols at the back post. Much more like it from Germany.

  2. goal

GOAL - Scotland 0-2 Belgiumpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Thomas Vermaelen (24 mins)

This could be a long night for Scotland. Add another assist to Kevin de Bruyne's name as he gets a short corner, bends a ball through time and space to find former footballer Thomas Vermaelen unmarked six yards out, and he can't really miss. He doesn't.

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

First real spell of intense German possession, they work it patiently and have Niklas Sule free on the left, but the pass is overhit.

  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

Germany want a penalty for hands after a shot is charged down by Jonny Evans... nothing given by referee Daniele Orsato!

Evans' hands were on his chest, but it did hit them. What are the rules these days? You tell me.

  5. Chances will comepublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

We've started to give the ball away in our half and we can't afford to do that. We're putting them under pressure at the other end and we'll get chances if we keep doing that.

  6. Postpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

First moment of panic in the Northern Irish defence as a square ball is hacked over his own crossbar by Craig Cathcart. Steady now!

  7. goal

GOAL - Wales 1-0 Belaruspublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Daniel James (17 mins)

Another beauty! Daniel James' belter of a season continues, as he caps another flowing counter attack with a now trademark finish from the Hull Robben.

Wide left, onto his right foot, bent into the top corner from 20 yards. Unstoppable!

Northern Ireland have started so well. Germany have been as poor in this first 13 minutes as I've seen them in a long, long time.

    Never write them off though...

    Scotland 0-1 Belgium

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

Ah yeah, no point in keeping an eye out for the counter attack against Belgium. It was just De Bruyne and Lukaku roaming free. What have they ever done...?

  10. Postpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Wales 0-0 Belarus

Plenty of possession for Wales but no too much to report as of yet.

  11. Postpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

    Stephen Craigan
Former NI defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Germany's defence are taking it from Manuel Neuer, knocking it sideways and almost looking for someone to come deep and take the ball off them. That's the opportunity to look to nick it.

  12. goal

GOAL - Scotland 0-1 Belgiumpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Romelu Lukaku (9 mins)

    An absolute clinic.

Scotland have a corner, it's cleared, Kevin de Bruyne is released down the left and you can see the goal coming from halfway. He runs on, runs on, releases the ball at the perfect time and Romelu Lukaku buries it first time.

  13. Postpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

Germany look rattled. Can't complete two passes at the moment. The normally metronomic Toni Kroos gave the ball away in the build-up to that great Conor Washington chance.

  14. Windsor roarpublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

    Richard Petrie
BBC Sport NI at Windsor Park

Windsor Park is a cauldron of noise, with the fans in full voice as Northern Ireland go on the attack in the early stages.

'The Green and White Army' are out in force and determined to make themselves heard.

A goal for the home team and you suspect the roof of these four packed stands may simultaneously be raised!

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:52 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

And what a chance for Northern Ireland! Conor Washington is played through on goal, there's a slip in the German defence but Washington is in...

Manuel Neuer doesn't panic, stays big and strong and makes a really fine save.

    That was the moment though.

  16. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Germany

Good positive start from Northern Ireland, trying to rattle Germany with some direct stuff. A long throw-in is flicked on and Conor Washington gets a toe on it but can only loop an effort tamely wide.

"We're gonna win the group..." is the chant.

  17. Postpublished at 19:50 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Scotland 0-0 Belgium

Straight out of Anfield for Scotland as Andy Robertson overlaps down the left and flashes in a low cross - he doesn't have Mo Salah or Sadio Mane to aim for though and it's cut out at the near post.

  18. Postpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

    Wales 0-0 Belarus

Daniel James is bright as a button to cut inside his man on the left and put in a dangerous ball - well claimed by keeper Maksim Plotnikov though.

  19. Postpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

NI win a corner. Big noise. Big lads up.

    Rubbish delivery.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:47 British Summer Time 9 September 2019

Under way in Scotland - and Wales - as well now.
