Flares, pyro, a bucketload of smoke and an excellent Dortmund style Tifo. It's so loud you can hardly hear Alan Green.

I expect another strong campaign from Tottenham. A final would be a high level for them, given the competition in the Champions League this season.

I'd expect them to go well, definitely be in the top two in this group, and then after that anything can happen.

Paris St-Germain will be without their entire first-choice strike force of Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.

Neymar is suspended after insulting match officials last season, while Cavani and Mbappe are both injured.

Former Stoke forward Eric Choupo-Moting could start, with doubts over the match fitness of loan signing Mauro Icardi.

"Everybody knows we miss a few strikers but I trust the players I have for this game," said PSG boss Thomas Tuchel.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BT Sport: "It's going to be a tough period but we are so excited, motivated and optimistic for the future. With this run, we hope it helps us to get the belief we need for next the games that we have in front.

"Olympiakos will be tough, it's always difficult when you play away from home. We are ready to fight."

It's more a matter of opportunity than resting players. Pochettino has got a squad of people who he wants to see play, like Davinson Sanchez. He wants to get Dele Alli back in and he sees this as the ideal game, and Spurs also have a massive game in the Premier League at Leicester on Saturday.

Mathieu Valbuena had a hand in five goals (one goal, four assists) in six appearances in the 2019-20 Champions League qualification stages for Olympiakos; more than any other player.

There was also going to be changes, you never know quite how many. I think it's interesting that Mauricio Pochettino has managed to keep Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in the team, and put Davinson Sanchez in. That one surprised me a bit. I think Sanchez will go out to right-back, I expected maybe Kyle Walker-Peters to play in that role.

It'll also be interesting to see Dele Alli make his first start. He didn't come on as a substitute on Saturday. In quite a comfortable finish to the game, you might have introduced him gradually that way.

It wouldn't surprise me if Pep Guardiola played Fernandinho and Nicolas Otamendi back there in defence but you never know, he could change the system.

I don't think Otamendi will have a game like he did at the weekend. One of the traits of a real good professional is that they don't make the same mistakes over and over. I think this will probably be one of his best games for City, in my opinion, because he'll be trying to show everyone that he's the real deal.

Real do not look in the best of shape so far. Zinedine Zidane is looking to win the Champions League for a fourth time as Real manager - he stepped down last summer after three in a row but came back in March, after their European exit.

However, his rebuild of the club has so far not materialised as planned. They spent over £200m on five players this summer, but Zidane had hoped for more - including midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United - and he was unable to move on some players he did not want, including forward Gareth Bale.

In fact, none of their new signings started in Saturday's 3-2 win over Levante, although Eden Hazard came off the bench for his debut.

On the TV Rio Ferdinand has just said that he was playing too deep last year. Let's see.
