BBC Sport at AnfieldSadio Mane and Naby Keita had talked up the Red Bull Salzburg support pre-grame and they certainly lived up to their billing pre-match but this devastating attacking display by Liverpool has sapped their enthusiasm considerably.
Every time Liverpool come forward there is a nervous silence and a sense of inevitability and that third goal just prompted a couple of fans to make a very early trip to the concourse, presumably to seek comfort from a pie.
