  1. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurtpublished at 56 mins

    Daichi Kamada

Lovely finish by Daichi Kamada. The Japan international gets the ball with his back to goal, turns then opens up a bit of space for himself to drive a low shot into the bottom corner.

Arsenal gave Kamada far too much space there and it is all square.

  2. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Better delivery by Filip Kostic but Shkodran Mustafi is there to deal with the danger.

  3. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Danny da Costa's cross takes a slight deflection to turn it towards goal but Emiliano Martínez has it covered. Arsenal started this half on the front foot but the visitors are having a decent spell at the moment, although they are still not doing enough to really worry the hosts.

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Half a chance for the visitors as Makoto Hasebe's lofted ball into the box is allowed to bounce through the Arsenal defence but Dominik Kohr rushes his shot and lashes well over. His coach did not look happy with that effort.

  5. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Immediately Joe Willock is put through by Gabriel Martinelli's fine ball. Willock attempts a chip but Daichi Kamada gets back well to deflect the ball out for a corner.

Back under way at the Emirates.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2019

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

It hasn't happened for Andre Silva as the on-loan Milan man doesn't return for the second half. Mijat Gacinovic is on in his place.

Dominik Kohr is also on for Gelson Fernandes.

  8. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2019

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang loves a goal against Eintracht Frankfurt.

He has scored 10 goals in 13 appearances against them in all competitions, more than he has against any other opponent in his professional club career.

Jon Spurling: Arsenal are winning, so all the hand wringing, shoe gazing and introspection can stop immediately. We've turned the corner, so just give Emery a 2 year contract extension at half time. Everybody ok with that?

Arsenal are back. Could this be the start of a long winning run? Maybe till spring?

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2019

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

So far so good for Arsenal and Unai Emery.

  11. Postpublished at 45+4 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Granit Xhaka, who I was convinced was about to go off, almost makes it 2-0 just before half time as he pops up on the edge of the box to meet a cross but scuffs wide.

  12. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-0 Eintracht Frankfurtpublished at 45+1 mins

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

    The Gunners get the breakthrough!

Excellent work by Bukayo Saka - who has been the standout player for the hosts - as he feeds the ball out wide to Gabriel Martinelli, who then squares into the box - Saka leaves it and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is there to sweep in a shot that is deflected up onto the underside of the bar by the keeper before bouncing over the line.

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Granit Xhaka overstretched when trying to win possession and he is really struggling. He limps to the edge of the pitch and receives warm applause from the home fans as he makes his way there.

To lose another player before half time would be a real blow for Arsenal. Five minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.

  14. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

No goals as yet and Arsenal have won one of their last seven European ties when drawing 0-0 at half time.

Granit Xhaka is now down injured for the Gunners and receiving some treatment on his leg...

  15. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka link up well to forge a chance for Arsenal but Saka's low drive is denied by Frederik Rönnow, who is having a good game for the visitors.

  16. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Martin Hinteregger, a transfer target for Arsenal according to reports, meets the delivery from the corner but can't direct a header goalwards and the hosts clear.

  17. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

A ball straight through the middle opens up Arsenal. Andre Silva finds Danny da Costa out wide but his cross is headed behind for a corner.

  18. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Gabriel Martinelli jumps in on Filip Kostic and picks up a booking. Bit harsh, nothing in it, but that's a yellow apiece.

This game is reminding me of Arsenal's against Leicester, particularly in the first half. Fairly solid at the back but lacking a bit of creativity going forward.

Thomas Goodchild: Anyone who didn’t think the problem is with Emery clearly isn’t watching. Five at the back is disgraceful. Time for a new man to take control.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 31 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

David Luiz is still struggling with that injury he picked up from that earlier clash with Andre Silva and can't continue. He is replaced by Matteo Guendouzi.
