    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang nods a ball on for Bukayo Saka to chase. Makoto Hasebe has a few yards on the Arsenal forward but his 35-year-old legs are no match for the Arsenal man but keeper Frederik Rönnow is alert and off his line quickly to close down the gap.

Joe Willock drives forward as Arsenal look to threaten but Filip Kostic gets back and a strong shoulder sees off the danger.

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Distinct lack of action in either box - five touches for Arsenal compared to just two for the visitors.

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt fans were banned from attending this game by Uefa following fan disorder at their game against Vitoria in October. A couple appear to have managed to get the better of it as the camera zooms in on them proudly wearing their Frankfurt scarves.

Not sure it has been worth the effort of getting in as yet. The visitors haven't really offered much.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Filip Kostic is shown a yellow card as he pulls back Calum Chambers just as the fullback threatened to get away.

Arsenal have a free kick deep inside the visitors half and Granit Xhaka bends it in, dangerous, but a strong hand by Frederik Rönnow deals with the danger for now.

Arsenal ticking along as we approach the 20 minute mark. Apart from a couple of corners Eintracht Frankfurt haven't really offered anything.

Kyle: The problem at Arsenal isn't just with the manager. The players aren't good enough defensively they are a shambles and the lack of protection from their midfielders and attackers is a huge problem too. Emery is a quality manager his track record says that.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 16 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Almost a gift for Arsenal as a ball is headed bizarrely down to Gabriel Martinelli by an Eintracht Frankfurt player and the Brazilian is u unmarked at point blank range but his shot is pushed behind superbly by Frederik Rönnow.

From the corner, Martinelli's header is cleared off the line by Gelson Fernandes.

A lengthy break in play with David Luiz down injured. It looks like he clashed with Andre Silva. The stretcher comes on but is not needed as Luiz walks gingerly to the touchline before jogging back on.

  10. CLOSE!published at 11 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

    Should be 1-0 to Arsenal!

Lovely work from Bukayo Saka on the left as he draws in three players and then disposes of them before putting a perfect ball into the box. There's confusion, though, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Joe Willock go up for it and the ball ends up being nodded wide.

Aviation Fan: Part of the crowd issue today is that Arsenal only allowed season ticket holders to buy tickets due to crowd concerns.

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Makoto Hasebe gets caught down the back of the ankle by Joe Willock and you can hear his scream from the other side of pitch. It isn't as bad it sounded as Hasebe is soon able to get up and walk it off.

Maybe the scream wasn't any louder than usual actually, it is just that it is that quiet in the Emirates at the moment. Can hear the low muttering of general conversations going on in the stands.

  13. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

A couple of early corners for the visitors are dealt with unconvincingly by Arsenal as an official trots out of the tunnel with a little grey jacket for Unai Emery to pop on.

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Well this is weird one. Unai Emery is being told he has to change his dark coat because, apparently, it clashes with the Eintracht Frankfurt kit.

Pretty sure you are not going to confuse Emery with one of the players...

  15. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Arsenal dominating possession in these first few minutes as Gabriel Martinelli tries to flick the ball over the Frankfurt defence for Bukayo Saka but there's a bit too much height on it, giving the visiting defenders time to react and deal with the potential danger.

F Rama: Xhaka is Arsenal's best midfielder. He is very much needed in this team. Boo boys have destroyed the confidence of this team. It is time they shut up & get behind the players & the manager

    Under way!

Strange atmosphere at the Emirates. Feels like a pre-season friendly.

Arsenal v Eintracht Frankfurt (20:00 GMT)

The two teams are heading out onto the pitch and it is a pretty sparse home crowd. Arsenal's poor recent form and a chilly Thursday night no doubt factors in that.

A reminder of the team news, with Granit Xhaka back in from the cold. Right move?

Arsenal: Martinez, Mustafi, Papastathopoulos, Luiz, Chambers, Willock, Xhaka, Tierney, Martinelli, Aubameyang, Saka. Subs: Leno, Lacazette, Ozil, Torreira, Pepe, Nelson, Guendouzi.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Ronnow, Abraham, Hasebe, Hinteregger, Da Costa, Sow, Fernandes, Kostic, Kamada, Paciencia, Andre Silva. Subs: Ndicka, Joveljic, Gacinovic, Toure, Chandler, Kohr, Zimmermann.

Arsenal v Eintracht Frankfurt (20:00 BST)

Thanks Sham! The Europa League fun bus continues at pace as the Gunners take on Eintracht Frankfurt.

Arsenal only need a draw to progress but Unai Emery could certainly do with a win, as much as anything to ease some of the pressure he has found himself under in recent weeks.

    Braga 3-3 Wolves

The Braga players and staff are on the pitch celebrating their point before making the way down the tunnel.

I'm doing the same, with Gary Rose taking over for the Arsenal-Eintracht Frankfurt game.

    Over to you, Gaz...
