I think England chose to stay on. My feeling was they were preparing to make the announcement. I think it was the long discussion with Gareth Southgate, the England players and the Uefa delegates that stopped it.

After the second step, the referee has the power to take the players off the field and back into the dressing rooms.

Did the visiting players decide to go back on and continue the game?

That was good work but how easy was it? It's just a simple pass across the goal and who is there? Raheem Sterling. The atmosphere is really strange now but England are 4-0 up and they could get a lot more.

I don't know whether they [the fans on the far side who left the stadium] were ultras but they have all left now. There must have been 20-30 fans, all dressed in black. We think they have left the stadium now and won't be back. Shocking.

Bulgaria come forward in added time but Kiril Despodov's cross is blocked.

Whether the referee had said to Gareth Southgate, "are your players willing to continue?" we don't know. The announcement that is made was just to tell us there were six more minutes.

Jordan Pickford picked up his towel and is walking to the side of the pitch. Gareth Southgate and the officials were talking. Some of the Bulgarian fans are walking towards the exit and are leaving in their dozens.

Jordan Henderson pats Tyrone Mings on the back of the head and the players run back into their positions.

Play has started again.

The referee continues to speak to Gareth Southgate and Harry Kane.

I'm not sure if some of the England players have reported more problems. They have gone over to the Bulgarian dugout. Are they just explaining to the coach what's been said? The warning has already been given that if it continues the game will be stopped. I think the Uefa delegate is here now in discussions with the referee on the side of the pitch. Gareth Southgate is stood a few yards behind. I think we might see the match suspended.

A group of supporters in black hoodies are currently making their way out of the ground.

Both sets of players are grouped together and are standing around.

Play has been stopped again in the 43rd minute.
