England get lucky again. Kosovo tear them open on a counter-attack, not for the first time, and Milot Rashica chases onto it. Goalkeeper Nick Pope slips but Declan Rice slides into to deny Rashica before he can lift it over the keeper into an empty net.

I'd say Kosovo probably deserve to get a point out of this one. Their finishing has been poor though, and their final ball hasn't been great either.

When teams have a go at England, they really struggle and that is a concern. This is not a Germany or France. The idea of England is that they press and play high tempo and not many teams can compete with them but today we have let Kosovo set the tempo and we have not been able to cope.

Here comes Mason Mount for England as in-form Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is replaced.

Kosovo make a switch too, Florent Hadergjonaj is off and Basel youngster Edon Zhegrova is on.

Not sure too many fringe players here are playing themselves into England's first-choice line-up.

Of course their next competitive game isn't until Euro 2020 now.

England's defence is completely cut apart by a wonderful crossfield pass. Florent Hadergjonaj charges forward but anybody who watched much of Huddersfield will know he's not going to score this - and his shot is straight at Nick Pope.

We are 75% of the way through this game. It hasn't been a classic.

Kosovo's first change, Besar Halimi - who plays in the German second tier - replaces Lazio's Valon Berisha in midfield.

Poor from Raheem Sterling. He has the ball in the box but instead of shooting with his right foot, he tries to cut back onto his left and a Kosovo defender slides in to win the ball.

Tonight was not Callum Hudson-Odoi's night, he has given the ball away very cheaply a number of times. I think he knew he was coming off. He had one good run in the first half but he has still has a lot to do to secure his place in an England shirt.

There's been a goal in the other game of this group, Vasil Bozhikov has put Bulgaria 1-0 up against the Czech Republic.

That would be enough to see Bulgaria overtake Montenegro at the bottom of the group.

Kosovo still playing with great heart backed by huge roars from their fans given the slightest encouragement.

England still have that air of vulnerability under pressure and Amir Rrahmani should have done so much better with that header.
