    Kevin Ratcliffe

We need to be a little bit quicker closing the man on the ball down.

We are weathering it at the moment but they are putting a bit more pressure on.

    Quote Message

The Dutch do seem to be trying to zip the ball about a bit more since the break and it does look like the match is starting to open up a little bit. Northern Ireland were comfortable in the first half but the longer this match goes on, the more the nerves among the Northern Ireland players will grow.

GOAL - Slovakia 1-1 Walespublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Juraj Kucka

    What a hit!

Wales fail to clear a cross into the box, Connor Roberts' diving header reaching just the edge of the box.

It drops nicely for Juraj Kucka as the Slovakia midfielder thumps a first-time, left-footed volley into the bottom corner.

A well-controlled finish and Wales have work to do now.

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

Here come the Dutch on the break.

Steven Bergwijn leads the charge but Northern Ireland scramble back with Ryan Babel looking to get a shot off.

Instead, the Galatasaray player lays it off for Georginio Wijnaldum, who shanks a shot way over.

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    Stephen Craigan
Former NI defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The team is working hard and you can see when the Netherlands get forward that there are so many Northern Ireland players getting back to close them down. It's going to be all about concentration now and the experienced players such as Steven Davis and Jonny Evans will be crucial in giving advice to the team.

  12. NI have got it just rightpublished at 20:42 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Northern Ireland have been comfortable and controlled throughout that half, apart maybe for the last two minutes. Manager Michael O'Neill and his players have got it just right so far. We just hope for more of the same after the break and that Northern Ireland can get the point that would be so important.

  13. Belgium heading for a big winpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

Elsewhere, it is feet up time for Belgium.

They are beating San Marino 6-0 at half time, with goals from Romelu Lukaku (two), Nacer Chadli, Youri Tielemans and two own goals.

Belgium have already had 21 shots on goal and with another 45 minutes to come, we could be heading towards double figures territory here.

  14. 'He makes it difficult for the opposition'published at 20:36 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-1 Wales

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

Kieffer Moore has delivered. He has made it very uncomfortable for their two centre-backs. Moore's timing has been absolutely fantastic. It is nice to see that we have a centre forward who we know will make it hard for the opposition.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

Kieffer Moore's header gives Wales a priceless lead at the interval.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:32 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland just need to hold on for one more minute.

Daley Blind's cross is met by little Georginio Wijnaldum, but the header while running away from goal is looped into the hands of goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:30 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-1 Wales

Robert Mak has been a thorn in the Wales side this half.

The Slovakia forward looks to latch onto a cross six yards from goal, but right-back Connor Roberts gets across on the cover to snuff out the danger in the nick of time.

    Excellent anticipation.

  19. Ferguson is doing really wellpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Shane Ferguson is not that used to playing as an out and out left-back, but he is doing really well so far for Northern Ireland. He is either reading the game well and nipping in to win the ball or he is getting so close to his attacker that he has no room at all to move.

  20. Postpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

Chance for Northern Ireland, but Paddy McNair's corner is headed away by Virgil van Dijk.
