We are causing them problems and they are having to defend at their best.

  2. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-1 Wales

Wales want a penalty and think they have one when Slovakia defender Norbert Gyomber comes sliding in on Jonny Williams in the box.

It initially looks like a stonewaller, but the second angle shows a slight touch on the ball.

  3. NI need to be carefulpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

    Quote Message

Northern Ireland need to be careful with their passing. A little bit of sloppiness there let the Dutch through to win a corner without having to produce any great football themselves. We can't afford to do that too often.

  4. CLOSE!published at 20:22 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-1 Wales

Slovakia go to the other end and almost level, but Robert Mak side-foots a weak shot straight down the throat of Wayne Hennessey.

The speedy Daniel James is giving Slovakia right-back Peter Pekarik plenty of problems with his pace.

  10. The Dutch have been too slowpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

    Quote Message

The Dutch have not moved the ball quickly enough to put Northern Ireland under any real pressure so far. When they get to the final third they are either turning back or their passing has been too slow to cause us problems. They will need to up the tempo if they are going to create chances.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:14 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

A bit of panic for Northern Ireland for the first time.

Ryan Babel lays the ball off for Georginio Wijnaldum, but the Liverpool midfielder's thumping shot is well blocked by Stuart Dallas.

Daley Blind screws the follow-up wide.

  12. Moore, Moore, Moore, how do you like it?published at 20:13 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-1 Wales

    Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at Anton Malatinsky Stadium, Trnava

Moments after hitting the crossbar with a header from Gareth Bale, it is Kieffer Moore who opens the scoring, heading home from Dan James' cross. Wales deserve their lead.

For Moore, it is a dream moment on his competitive debut.

When Wales were lighting up the Euros in 2016, Moore was preparing for a transfer to then non-league Forest Green.

The former lifeguard will hope he's just helped to sink Slovakia.

GOAL - Slovakia 0-1 Walespublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Kieffer Moore

    Wales break the deadlock!

It is started by Gareth Bale spraying a cross-field pass to Daniel James and the Manchester United winger dinks in a cross into the box.

Wigan striker Kieffer Moore is free 10 yards out and plants a towering header into the back of the net for his first international goal.

  14. That Ampadu blockpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-0 Wales

    Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at Anton Malatinsky Stadium, Trnava

If Wales get a positive result from this game then people will remember Ethan Ampadu's stunning block to deny Robert Mak what seemed like a certain goal.

It wasn't quite up there with Ben Davies' epic block to deny Marek Hamsik a certain goal in that Euro 2016 opener, but it was not far short.

Other than that one moment, Wales have looked solid.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:10 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-0 Wales

Slovakia get a corner which is swung in by Marek Hamsik.

Full-back David Hancko leaps highest and flicks a header at goal, but it is a comfortable save for Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

  16. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

Been a solid showing from Northern Ireland so far, the Netherlands are failing to make inroads.

A point here would be a fantastic result for Michael O'Neill's men.

  17. 'Playing very well'published at 20:03 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Northern Ireland are playing very well. They are defending when they have to defend, not a lot going forward but we knew that the Netherlands would dominate most of the play.

    15 minutes in...

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    Slovakia 0-0 Wales

    Russia 0-0 Scotland

    Thrilling stuff.

  19. 'Get the ball into feet'published at 20:01 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Netherlands 0-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Jonny Evans just tried to play a ball down the channel for Kyle Lafferty to chase and I don't think he has the legs for that anymore. You need to get the ball into the feet.

  20. Postpublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 10 October 2019

    Slovakia 0-0 Wales

Ethan Kwame Colm Raymond Ampadu, to give the on-loan RB Leipzig player his full name.

Try getting that on the back of your shirt.
