Seeing Bale step up for Wales makes you wonder why Real Madrid have spent the last few transfer windows looking elsewhere for someone to fill Ronaldo's boots..

Again, Wales relying on Gareth Bale. What a player and what a career he is having!

That was a straight red for me. That's what I call a coward's challenge.

    Wales 1-1 Croatia

    Kevin Ratcliffe
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Wales

This could force Wales into a tactical change. Joe Allen will probably drop a bit and Joe Morrell will play a bit further forward.

He's a little terrier this boy.

Joe Morrell of Bristol City replaces Ethan Ampadu.

  9. Postpublished at 49 mins

Ethan Ampadu looks dazed as he is helped off the pitch by the medical staff.

He was properly barged over in the air from behind by Bruno Petkovic, unaware the Croat was there.

Ethan Ampadu is still getting treatment. It's not looking good. And Wales are getting a sub ready.

That's got my blood boiling. If you're Wales now you're thinking about giving as good as you get. That was just ridiculous.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 13 October 2019

I don't mind Wales going route one because from the second ball they're getting Ben Davies and Connor Roberts in behind and into crossing areas. You don't mind a bit of route one if you play football after it.

Happy for Wales that they've equalised. Not so happy at Kovacic's injury as a Blues fan.....

Great time to score. Hopefully Wales can be more attacking in the second half and push to win the game!

Wales did the right thing after conceding the goal. They'd have been knackered about 65-70 minutes if they'd kept the same game plan.
