    The vociferous home crowd have responded to Northern Ireland's enterprising start by creating a cauldron of noise which can surely be heard from one end of Belfast to the other!

    There's a chill in the air alright on this cold November night but the atmosphere inside Windsor Park has been warming up from long before kick-off and is now red hot.

    Some great early chances...now a goal would go down very nicely from a home supporters' perspective.

    We saw it in the Netherlands, too. If you put their back four under pressure, they're going to struggle. It's been a great start for Northern Ireland. Fair play to Corry Evans, he put the goalkeeper under serious pressure. Paddy McNair has already put a couple of good crosses into the box. The changes that Michael O'Neill has made have been very positive. The Dutch haven't got going yet.

    I thought it was in! Corry Evans does incredibly well to put Cillessen under pressure and you can hear how it's lifted the fans - it gives you hope. A nice and positive start for Northern Ireland.

    Northern Ireland and the Netherlands have only met seven times previously, with NI winning one, drawing two and losing four of those previous encounters.

    Northern Ireland's only victory came way back in March 1965 - a 2-1 success in a World Cup qualifier.

    Anyone under the age of 50 will struggle to remember their last competitive meeting in Belfast in a World Cup qualifier in October 1977. The Netherlands won 1-0 on that occasion.
