  2. CLOSE!published at 53 mins

    Wales 2-0 Hungary

Aaron Ramsey is on a hat-trick and wants a free-kick but Gareth Bale pulls out the top trumps cards and shoves him off it. Bale's effort is a beauty too, over the wall, past the keeper, in the top corner...no! Just over.

  7. goal

GOAL - Wales 2-0 Hungarypublished at 47 mins

    Aaron Ramsey

    AGAIN!

What a man, what a big game player. £400k a week well spent, especially as he costs Wales nothing. Big Kieffer Moore wins the ball in the middle from a set-piece, it falls at the feet of Aaron Ramsey and he shows remarkable composure to take a touch, wait for the keeper to move and then clip it into the roof of the net.

  17. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Wales 1-0 Hungary

The free-kick is a bit of a waste from Wales to be honest. Joe Allen then has a powerful effort charged down. Good half so far from Wales.

  18. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Wales 1-0 Hungary

Excellent driving run down the Wales left from Ben Davies, he underlaps and gets a shot away, well blocked, before Gareth Bale is fouled on the right. Bale getting plenty of treatment so far.

    Wales 1-0 Hungary

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

There was a momentary silence as Welsh hearts skipped a beat with that huge chance for Hungary.

Wales have been on top but that was a reminder of the threat the visitors pose. A massive let-off for Ryan Giggs' side.
