  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 39 mins

    AIK 1-2 Celtic (1-4)

So close to a third goal for Celtic as Ryan Christie slides Odsonne Edouard in with a lovely reverse pass. The striker waits and waits before lifting his shot over the keeper but the angle is tight and his shot cannons off the near post.

  2. Will Johnston claim it?published at 18:41 British Summer Time 29 August 2019

    AIK 1-2 Celtic (1-4)

For now, Uefa have given the goal to Mikey Johnston, which is maybe deserved for his fantastic trickery in forcing the own goal.

Sensational play from Mikey Johnston. The goalkeeper makes a mess of it, I've no idea how he has let that wriggle under him. But what a response from Celtic and tie over now.

GOAL AIK 1-2 Celticpublished at 34 mins

    Oscar Linner O.G

Brilliant from Mikey Johnston as the Celtic winger dribbles away from two men and gets to the byeline, where he wriggles away from one more. He drills a cross in the direction of Ryan Christie but goalkeeper Oscar Linner gets there first - only to scoop the ball behind him and into the net.

The spot-kick is converted by Sebastian Larsson, who was the man clattered by Boli Bolingoli. A glimmer of hope for the hosts.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    AIK 0-1 Celtic (0-3)

Celtic defender Nir Bitton does some dilly-dallying over the taking of a free kick, inflaming the already hostile home fans. Booked for time-wasting.

AIK are finding plenty of space and pushing their wing-backs high. It's something Celtic have to get to grips with, it's all reactive just now.

  9. Postpublished at 27 mins

    AIK 0-1 Celtic (0-3)

Nabil Bahoui again. The AIK midfielder runs in behind the Celtic defence and he can see the whites of Craig Gordon's eyes before Nir Bitton sticks in a long leg and takes the sting out a shot that floats into the advancing keeper's arms.

  10. CLOSE!published at 25 mins

    AIK 0-1 Celtic (0-3)

AIK are still plugging away and the home fans are still roaring them on as Nabil Bahoui drills an effort just wide from the edge of the penalty box.

What a goal from James Forrest. He has so much to do when the ball comes to him, brilliant first touch and finish. Calmness personified. Yet again he turns up again in the big games when Celtic need him.

  13. goal

GOAL AIK 0-1 Celticpublished at 16 mins

    James Forrest

Completely out of the blue, Celtic are ahead. James Forrest dashes into the AIK half and flicks a pass to Odsonne Edouard on the right, who then returns the favour with a looped ball over three defenders. Forrest is cool as a frozen cucumber as he lets the ball go across his body, taking out another defender, and then slams a rising left-foot shot into the top corner from near the penalty spot.

  14. Evening over for Ajerpublished at 15 mins

    AIK 0-0 Celtic (0-2)

Anthony Ralston is getting ready to come on as Kristoffer Ajer limps off the park very, very slowly.

The Norwegian has been a stand-out for Celtic this season, so that is a serious blow.

  15. Postpublished at 13 mins

    AIK 0-0 Celtic (0-2)

Concern for Celtic as Kristoffer Ajer is down and in need of some medical attention. The big defender looks a bit gloomy as the physio makes his way over.

  16. Postpublished at 11 mins

    AIK 0-0 Celtic (0-2)

Celtic manage to string a few passes together but are soon scrambling in defence again as AIK come streaming down the left channel. Ryan Christie does a sterling job in getting back to snuff out the danger with a sliding interception.

Celtic have to weather this storm. AIK are fired up and flying into tackles. They are so committed and if they keep this up I wouldn't surprised to see them get a red card.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 8 mins

    AIK 0-0 Celtic (0-2)

The home side are certainly up for this one and Nabil Bahoui is cautioned for recklessly throwing himself into Christopher Jullien a long time after the Celtic defender hoofs the ball up the park.

  19. Postpublished at 5 mins

    AIK 0-0 Celtic (0-2)

Celtic are under pressure here as Boli Bolingoli and Nir Bitton are called upon to make important blocks at the back in quick succession.

AIK are certainly more expansive than last week already and showing their intent. It's a great ball in, Craig Gordon is beaten and relieved to see the ball come back off the post. A huge warning for Celtic.
