Tottenham are in the middle of a run of seven games in 21 days. You'd be tempted to say they look a bit sluggish in their attacking play but they can’t really use tiredness as an excuse, given only keeper Paulo Gazzaniga of this starting XI featured from the outset in their 2-1 defeat at Leicester at the weekend.
Half an hour to play and bar the odd scare the hosts are fairly comfortable.

How has that stayed out? Swansea so close to going ahead as Yan Dhanda loops a header across goal but it's flicked away off the line.

Kyle Walker-Peters drills a ball across goal from the right and it smacks the post with keeper Dean Gerken flat-footed. Colchester hack it away for a corner, which they deal with comfortably enough.

This one is not over yet. The Portsmouth fans are making a right racket at Fratton Park and Ronan Curtis, at the back post, controls it on the chest and sends in a volley across goal, but Maya Yoshida is well placed to hack it clear.
