  1. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Luton 0-1 Leicester

Leicester think they have a second, Ayoze Perez thinks he has his first goal for the club following his summer move from Newcastle but an assistant's flag rules out an excellent chip.

  2. Postpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Colchester 0-0 Tottenham

If I tell you referee Jarred Gillett has just had a word with Colchester keeper Dean Gerken about time wasting - with 39 minutes on the clock - you'll get a sense of how this game is going. The hosts are six minutes away from going in level at the break though and they have the ball in the Tottenham half.

Crawley are level! Poor defending at the front post allows Nathan Ferguson a second bite at the cherry and he takes advantage, drilling home at the near post.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:24 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Everton

    Nearly a hat-trick inside the opening 40 minutes for Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

He has already scored in the 6th and 10th minutes and was nearly walking home with the matchball, but Sheffield Wednesday keeper Cameron Dawson did excellently to keep out the striker's close-range header.

  6. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Preston 0-2 Man City

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Deepdale

He had one disallowed earlier but there was never any chance of this Gabriel Jesus strike being ruled out.

He rifled it home from fellow restee (I know it's not a word) Raheem Sterling's pass.

It's hard to see a way back now.

  7. goal

GOAL - Preston 0-2 Manchester Citypublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Gabriel Jesus (35 mins)

A goal and now an assist for Raheem Sterling, who sends in Gabriel Jesus beyond the Preston defence and the Brazilian slots through Connor Ripley's legs.

    Top class.

  8. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Preston 0-1 Man City

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Deepdale

Preston goalkeeper Connor Ripley makes amends for an error there. He passed the ball straight to Phil Foden, who found Gabriel Jesus. But Ripley was able to save the Brazilian's 20-yard shot.

    Sam Surridge

Swansea are level and it's the man on loan from Bournemouth, Sam Surridge, who has scored it.

Great goal too, Nathan Dyer putting in a low cross which just needs a touch and Surridge stretches to oblige.

  10. goal

    Demarai Gray

Luton are a bit sleepy as they prepare to defend a corner. Marc Albrighton's low corner from the right is dummied by Ayoze Perez and Demarai Gray is free in the box and able to send it into the far corner. Leicester lead.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:18 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Arsenal 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi goes for the spectacular with an acrobatic backheeled attempt. But not this time, as it goes over the top. Would've been special if it had crept under the bar though.

  12. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Preston 0-1 Man City

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Deepdale

The ball lands kindly to Preston midfielder Daniel Johnson 30 yards out but his ambitious effort is well over the bar.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:17 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Colchester 0-0 Tottenham

Colchester keeper Dean Gerken is forced to make a save for the first time this evening.

Lucas Moura fizzes in a powerful free-kick but Gerken flings himself to his right and blocks. The ball falls into the danger area but his defenders help him out and hack it to safety.

  14. Postpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Everton

Jordan Pickford is back in action in the Everton goal as he holds on to Adam Reach's effort. The Toffees still with a comfortable two-goal advantage though.

  15. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 24 September 2019

    Portsmouth 0-1 Southampton

A chance for a Portsmouth equaliser, but Christian Burgess, free at the back post, rather snatches at the shot and sends it well wide from only eight yards out. Should've done better.

    Danny Welbeck (28 mins)

A first goal for Watford, a first goal in 11 months for Danny Welbeck! Great to see him back at it as the former England man heads in from a corner. Slight deflection on it too.

Sheffield Wednesday need to take their chances if they are to get back in this one and Dominic Iorfa's header at the back post is just wide from Adam Reach's corner.

    VAR, chant the City fans.
