Well, with no late game today, there ends the live action this Saturday across the EFL.

Plenty of decent headlines in all three divisions and some tasty looking games with goals aplenty.

We didn't want to say this earlier but Sunday arguably sees the tastiest of this weekend's Championship fixtures.

First up there's the battle of the new managers as Danny Cowley's Huddersfield host Garry Monk's Sheffield Wednesday.

Then Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds know they will go top of the table if they can win at near-neighbours Barnsley.

But it means a Leeds victory at Barnsley on Sunday will see them climb to the summit.

Bristol City's fine start to the campaign continued with a win at bottom side Stoke. They're up to third.

The 16-year-old netted in the second half of his full debut for Blues and Charlton's unbeaten run goes.

Their first home league defeat since last October in League One when Coventry came away with all three points.

Marvin Johnson's curling free-kick the difference in this one as Boro do manage to hold on to a lead for once.

Wigan went ahead, then Hull turned it around with two quick first-half goals before the Latics showed fight to draw level in the second half.

A goal in each half from Sean Maguire and Tom Barkhuizen sees Preston continue their good form.

Brentford had a spell in the second half but their inability to defend has cost them, giving the hosts two easy finishes to settle the game.

A goal in either half does the job for Blackburn with strikes from Derrick Williams and Bradley Dack.

It started so well but 10-man Stoke are beaten and Nathan Jones has that sinking feeling again...

Sam Clucas' opener was followed by a red card for Joe Allen, and though Stoke initially coped well they were eventually broken down.

City levelled through Famara Diedhiou and a Tom Edwards own goal sees them leave with the spoils.

Mark Warburton's side were 3-0 up inside 28 minutes, but the Hatters rallied and in the end were perhaps a bit hard done by to leave London with nothing.

The Championship leaders are beaten after a great away display from Forest!

Alfa Semedo's tap-in settled matters but the visitors were good value for the points, restricting Swansea to just one shot on target.

It could well be a first point of the season for Southend United.

Stephen Humphrys makes it 3-3 against Fleetwood at Roots Hall.

The free-kick goes into the wall and QPR survive.

But they're very much limping to the finish line here.

Nottingham Forest have finally taken the lead and Swansea cannot say they have not deserved it.

Swansea have not got going today and as a result their unbeaten start looks to be coming to an end.

Ironically, the goal came just as it began to look like Forest would sit back and settle for a point.

But with Swansea throwing men forward, Lewis Grabban led a sharp counter and sub Semedo tapped home.
