Wow. Patrick Cutrone was through on goal and the Manchester City defenders were sleeping.

He tried to lift it into the net but hit it completely off target.

GOAL - Arsenal 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 6 October 2019

    David Luiz (9 mins)

Arsenal lead and they all pile on David Luiz celebrating like it's the winning goal in a Champions League final.

Nicolas Pepe whips in a good corner, with Luiz running onto it unmarked to head past Aaron Ramsdale.

    Manchester City 0-0 Wolves

Patrick Cutrone has just missed a glorious chance for Wolves. The Italy striker is sent in one on one with Ederson from the halfway line. He reaches the penalty area and opens his body trying to curl it into the top corner. But he gets it wrong and the ball goes well wide.

Will he get a better chance in the next 83 minutes? I'm not sure he will.

This constitutes a slow start for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this season.

In two of their three games - against Brighton and Watford - they were already in front by now. They had to wait 20 minutes before scoring against Tottenham.

    Arsenal 0-0 Bournemouth

A great Arsenal move and it ends with a fantastic Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shot from 20 yards fizzing just wide.

    Southampton 0-0 Chelsea

Positive start by the hosts at St Mary's. They have a corner, which is headed out to Saints captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, but he lashes an ambitious volley miles over.

    Manchester City 0-0 Wolves

City's first attack as Raheem Sterling finds Sergio Aguero. The ball is up in the air but Aguero gets his shot away, although it's blocked.

Now Sterling gets his feet in a mess and gets his pass to Riyad Mahrez wrong.

Do youth coaches still tell kids 'never pass across your own goal?' That's probably outdated advice since most of the top teams do it. Joao Cancelo fizzes a pass across his own goal to a team-mate.

On Callum Hudson-Odoi being linked to Bayern Munich last season

It'll be water off a duck's back. He's a confident lad, just really happy playing his football.

He’ll try things on the biggest stage. You’ll ask him why he’s done it and he’ll say ‘I’ve never tried it before, I just wanted to try it’.

He’ll be at Chelsea for as long as he wants and then maybe onto bigger things.

Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister - back in December 1979 - the last time Wolves had a top flight away win at Manchester City.

They did win three times in a row at Maine Road when they were in the second tier in the late 1990s but they have never won at the Etihad Stadium.

They did draw here a couple of seasons ago in the EFL Cup though - and lost on penalties.
