Quote MessageCeltic are playing the ball very quickly, which is exactly what you need to do when you're up against five at the back
Hamilton Academical 0-1 Celtic
Celtic are certainly up for this. Hamilton have hardly been out of their own half in the opening nine minutes.
Accies boss Brian Rice is left shaking his head in frustration on the sidelines.

Quote MessageIt's a great goal, lovely touch around the corner from Edouard to Elyounoussi and it's a lovely finish from Forrest at the near post

Quote MessageReally poor from Hamilton - it was a lovely take from Edouard, but he can't come in there and take easy possession. McMann has to switch on and make sure Forrest does not come in front of him. He didn't and they have paid a heavy, heavy price
James Forrest
Accies are playing a five-man defence, but it is quickly breached as Mohammed Elyounoussi continues to impress on his debut as the on-loan Southampton winger crosses low and James Forrest knocks it home from close range at the front post.
Hamilton Academical 0-0 Celtic
Debutant Mohamed Elyounoussi almost makes a dramatic start for Celtic as his shot is blocked from in front of the Accies goal by a defender.
That looked goal-bound.
Hamilton Academical 0-0 Celtic
Accies kick off and referee Don Robertson is quickly into the action, breaking up a Celtic attack with an interception!
It results in a drop ball...

Quote MessageI think there is a bit of fluidity within the formation for Hamilton - the one thing we always get from Brian is no fear. He'll tell them to go and be brave and not worry about mistakes, but it will be a tough one for them

Hamilton head coach Brian Rice tells BBC Radio Scotland he does not want his side to show an 'inferiority complex' against Celtic.
"I'm trying to make a solid unit and to make it very difficult for Celtic to play through us - but if you try and stop them through the middle, they go round the outside and vice versa," Rice admits.
"Every team is trying to come up with ways to stop them - the best way to do that is to compete the best you can and that's what I'm hoping for.
"But it's not all about stopping Celtic, it's also about how we can impose ourselves in the game and cause them problems."
Sportsound is now up and running on BBC Radio Scotland MW for live commentary and analysis on Hamilton v Celtic followed by updates from the other five Scottish Premiership games this afternoon.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon expects a tough shift against Accies, saying: "They had a great result at Tynecastle a couple of weeks ago. We want to be strong, we want momentum. It's an early kick-off, so we can't be complacent.
"Other than the two enforced changes, we have named the same team that played so well at Ibrox two weeks ago."

Quote MessageIt is one defeat in nine for Hamilton at home so Celtic won't be taking this challenge lightly, but there's no doubt they'll be coming into it with confidence
Hamilton Academical v Celtic (12:00)
Celtic manager Neil Lennon tells BBC Scotland Sportsound what the fans can expect from debut midfielder Mohamed Elyounoussi.
"He's a technician," he says. "I wouldn't say he's dynamically quick, but he's a very smart player, good mover of the ball, very intelligent.
"He has a goal in him as well. He isn't on trial today, but hopefully this will get him up and running because he could do with the game-time."
Deadline-day signing Greg Taylor isn't involved for the visitors this afternoon and Lennon added: "He hasn't played for a few weeks so has some conditioning work to do before we can get him in the squad."

The stats weigh heavily against Accies taking anything from today's game.
Celtic have won their last nine games against Hamilton, who have failed to score in their last three meetings for the loss of seven goals.
It is 15 games since Accies' last win over Celtic,1-0 in Glasgow in October 2014.
Neil Lennon's side, unbeaten away from home this season, are seeking a fourth consecutive win on their travels, while Accies have only won one of their four home games over 90 minutes - with two of their League Cup group games going to penalties after a draw.

Celtic are short of options in central defence as they look ahead to Thursday's opening Europa League group game away to Rennes.
Jozo Simunovic has already missed three games and has now been sent to a specialist and Nir Bitton, the Israel midfielder who has been admirably deputising in defence, has been ruled out for three weeks.
The good news for manager Neil Lennon is that Kristoffer Ajer has recovered from the knock that forced him out of Norway's international squad.
