  1. Turning point for Saints?published at 17:01 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Aberdeen 1-1 St Johnstone FT

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

A bad point for Aberdeen, a great one for St Johnstone.

Two points dropped at home, not what the doctor ordered for an Aberdeen side with ambitions of challenging at the top end of the table.

St Johnstone showed grit and character throughout and will be hoping a point at a difficult venue can be a real turning point in their fortunes.

  2. Dreadful from Heartspublished at 17:00 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-3 Motherwell

    Quote Message

Hearts are bottom of the table. In truth, there was massive gulf between the two teams in terms of class, temperament, tactics and pretty much everything

    Quote Message

A bit of booing at Pittodrie as Aberdeen are held by St Johnstone. It wasn't a good second-half performance from Aberdeen. St Johnstone were far better than them and played some lovely football

  4. FULL-TIME Kilmarnock 2-0 Hibernianpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

New game, same story for Paul Heckingbottom and Hibs.

The Hibs head coach was spot on when he said that his side were "too soft and pretty". He got a reaction from his players in the first-half, but that reaction did not last long enough.

It was a game of two halves, really. The difference being that Hibs failed to score when they were on top, but Killie scored twice when they had the momentum.

Hibs are without a league win since the opening day of the season, but Killie and Angelo Alessio are now unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions.

  5. FULL-TIME Heart of Midlothian 2-3 Motherwellpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

Pressure is mounting on Hearts manager Craig Levein after a disappointing display in front of their home fans.

The 3-2 scoreline does not tell the whole story, with Motherwell well on top and unlucky not to win by a bigger margin.

  6. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 1-1 St Johnstonepublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

St Johnstone went into this looking for their first Premiership win of the season, but they will be satisfied with their display and a deserved point at Pittodrie.

Home goalkeeper Joe Lewis looked to be at fault for Michael O'Halloran's equaliser after Ryan Hedges put Aberdeen ahead.

  7. FULL-TIME Ross County 2-1 St Mirrenpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

A stoppage-time goal from Marcus Fraser gives County all three points.

Tony Andreu had equalised for the visitors after a Ross Stewart opener in an exciting contest.

  8. FULL-TIME Rangers 3-1 Livingstonpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

Rangers come from behind to secure a victory that means they end the day still three points behind Premiership leaders Celtic.

Steven Lawless' penalty suggested a shock was on the cards, but goals from James Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos and Brandon Barker saved the day for Steven Gerrard's side.

GOAL Dunfermline Athletic 0-1 Inverness Caledonian Thistlepublished at 16:44 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Sean Welsh (penalty)

It looks like Dunfermline are heading for their sixth consecutive home defeat as Sean Welsh opens the scoring for Caley Thistle from the penalty spot.

The Pars will be stuck at the foot of the Championship if it stays this way.

  13. goal

GOAL Heart of Midlothian 2-3 Motherwellpublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Ryotaro Meshino

Well, well, well. Down to 10 men, perhaps, but Hearts are not done yet.

Dancing footwork from Ryotaro Meshino leaves Liam Donnelly for dead at the edge of the box and the on-loan Manchester City midfielder's low shot goes through goalkeeper Mark Gillespie and into the away net.

What a comeback this would be if Hearts can pull it off.

It's a wonderful counter attack by Kilmarnock. 2-0 is an unlikely scoreline, but Killie have got stronger as the game has gone on. I thought they were woeful in the first half

Striker Conor Washington pulls up injured chasing a ball over top and can't continue.

Craig Levein has already used all three of his substitutes. It's been a sorry old afternoon for the Gorgie men.
