    Ross County 0-0 St Mirren

Kyle Magennis skips past Marcus Fraser and fires a shot from the middle of the pitch that cracks off the corner of the crossbar.

That's the closest St Mirren have come to opening the scoring this afternoon.

  2. Substitution for Countypublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Ross County 0-0 St Mirren

County are forced into a change as Joe Chalmers comes on for Iain Vigurs in midfield after the latter picks up an injury from the late challenge of Kyle McAllister a few minutes ago.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:40 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Motherwell

Motherwell go within inches of a second through Devante Cole.

It's a brilliant through ball from Liam Polworth to set the striker galloping through on goal, but a brilliant Colin Doyle stop diverts his effort agonisingly wide.

    Aberdeen 1-0 St Johnstone (35mins)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

Aberdeen are starting to get a bit of a grip on the game now. The goal has certainly settled them.

After a bright start, Saints have dropped out of the game.

By the way, the summer has long gone, with a bitter wind howling around Pittodrie.

  6. Struggling for chancespublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Ross County 0-0 St Miren

We're 30 minutes in to this match at Dingwall and we can confidentally report that very little has happened at all.

County came close with a Ewan Henderson shot and a St Mirren free-kick on the edge of the box ought to have caused problems for either side, but both illustrated just how poor both teams have been with their accuracy in front of goal.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Rangers 0-0 Livingston

Yet more pressure from the home side as Alfredo Morelos steers a header on target that Livingston goalkeeper Ross Stewart saves.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Motherwell

Much, much better from Hearts, who cleave open the Motherwell defence for the first time.

Uche Ikpeazu is the architect, skipping inside two challengers from the left and firing across the face for Steven Maclean.

The striker delicately lays the ball off for the onrushing Sean Clare, but the midfielder's shot is tame and central and easy for Mark Gillespie. After letting Declan Gallagher away to score the game's only goal, that was a big chance for Clare to make amends.

  9. May quiet against Donspublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Aberdeen 1-0 St Johnstone

Stevie May's former team-mates have kept the St Johnstone striker quiet so far - and Aberdeen have grabbed hold of this game following an even first 15 minutes.

The home fans are restless at Rugby Park, despite the recent revival under Angelo Alessio. The reason? Hibs, with four changes, have totally dominated the opening 25 minutes, with both Daryl Horgan and Stevie Mallan drawing fine fingertip saves from Laurentiu Branescu in the Killie goal. At the other end, Ofir Marciano might be charged admission. Total spectator

Kilmarnock are really struggling to make any inroads into this game. Hibs are totally bossing it. At the moment, Kilmarnock are trying to play too much football in their own half

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:29 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Motherwell

Motherwell go very close to a second goal. Sherwin Seedorf makes a brilliant bustling run up the left and cuts back for Liam Polworth on the edge of the box.

The midfielder's whipped right-foot effort fizzes just over the crossbar with goalkeeper Colin Doyle back-pedalling at a rate of knots.

  18. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hibernian

It's been a decent start by Hibs and they almost take the lead.

Scott Allan is brought down on the edge of the box, giving Stevie Mallan a chance from the resulting free-kick. The midfielder's effort curls around the wall and bounces up off the top of the bar and behind for a goal-kick.

  19. goal

GOAL Heart of Midlothian 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 14 September 2019

    Declan Gallagher

After 20 minutes of harem-scarem football, we have a fine shot on target and a goal.

Declan Gallagher wins a corner with a cracking right-foot curler from the left angle of the box that is tipped over the bar by Colin Doyle.

From the set-piece that follows, Gallagher powers away from Sean Clare to slam his header into the net from six yards. It's pretty abject defending from Hearts. A grim, and rather concerning, start for Craig Levein and his team.

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Johnstone

Sam Cosgrove goes close for Aberdeen - he hits the post from a dangerous cross by Greg Leigh into the St Johnstone area. It is the first time the Dons have truly threatened Zander Clark's goal.
